Upon arrival at the port, check-in and check-in to the ship follows. In the afternoon a familiarization tour of the boat, accommodation and safety drill before departure. Port of Hamburg, also known as Hamburg Harbor, is located in Hamburg, Germany. It was established in the 12th century and initially served as a small trading post for ships from the British Isles and Scandinavia. Over the centuries, the port has grown into one of the busiest and most important in Europe.

In the 19th century, Hamburg Harbor underwent significant expansion with the construction of new docks and storage facilities. The port became a hub for international trade, particularly in the importation of coffee, tea, and spices. Despite suffering significant damage during World War II, the Port of Hamburg recovered and continued to play a crucial role in Germany's economy. Today, it remains one of the world's largest and busiest ports.

Southampton (London) United Kingdom
16. September, 7:00 - 20:00

Southampton is a separate administrative unit on the south coast of England. It is the nearest major city to the New Forest area and is located about halfway between Portsmouth and Bournemouth. Southampton is the centre of a conurbation unofficially referred to as Greater Southampton. It is mainly a university town. You can take a walk with us through the beautiful streets to the local church, visit the museum of the Titanic which just sailed from this town, or enjoy a day out in one of the local pubs.

The port of Southampton in the United Kingdom boasts a rich and vibrant history that dates back to the Roman era. Its strategic location on England's southern coast made it an important hub for trade and transport throughout the centuries. The town was even a departure point for Crusaders in the 13th century.

In the modern era, the Southampton port gained international attention as the departure point for the ill-fated Titanic voyage in 1912. The port further played a crucial role during the Second World War, with thousands of troops departing from its docks for D-Day. Today, it is recognized as one of the busiest and most successful deep-water ports in the world, handling millions of passengers and cargo each year.

Cork Ireland
18. September, 7:00 - 16:00

It is the second largest city in the Republic of Ireland. The city's name is derived from the Irish word corcach, which translates as swampy place. The historic core of the city lies on an island between two arms of the River Lee, near its mouth to the sea. Cork and its surroundings offer visitors everything from Celtic history and traditions, to cultural events and golf, to breathtaking natural scenery. County Cork is also nicknamed the Rebel County and is considered by the people of Cork itself to be the true capital of Ireland. Cork was originally a monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Finbarr.

Cork, located in the southwest of Ireland, is the country’s second-largest city and boasts a rich history dating back over a thousand years. The city’s origins trace to the 6th century, when Saint Finbarr founded a monastery on the site, establishing Cork as a center of learning and spirituality. By the 12th century, Cork had developed into a walled trading port, thanks to its strategic position on the River Lee and its natural harbor. The city’s ties to trade and maritime activity grew during the Middle Ages, with Cork becoming a hub for commerce between Ireland, continental Europe, and beyond.

In the 19th century, Cork emerged as an industrial and cultural center, playing a vital role in Ireland’s history. It became a focal point during the struggle for Irish independence in the early 20th century, earning it the nickname "Rebel City" due to its residents' strong nationalist sentiment. Today, Cork is celebrated for its vibrant cultural scene, historic architecture, and culinary excellence. Highlights include St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral, the English Market, and the city's many bridges and waterways that reflect its maritime heritage. With its blend of rich history, modern innovation, and warm local character, Cork offers a unique perspective on Ireland’s past and present.

7. day

Belfast United Kingdom
19. September, 8:00 - 18:00

It has been the capital and largest city of the Northern Ireland province of Ulster since 1921, when the island was divided. It has a population of about 310,000. It is a city of parks, situated in a bay at the mouth of the River Lagan in the Irish Sea. The first English and Scottish settlers settled here in the early 17th century, although a Norman castle stood here as early as the 12th century. There are buildings of many architectural styles to be seen in Belfast. The city centre is spread around a central square, Donegall Square, in the centre of which lies the Town Hall. The building dates from the early 20th century and a statue of Queen Victoria stands outside its entrance. In the north-west corner of Donegall Square is Belfast's 18th-century Linen Hall Library. The city's other two great buildings of note are the 19th century Ulster Bank and the 18th century Northern Bank. Young people congregate in the pedestrianised Cornmarket. There's plenty to look forward to.

Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, has a history shaped by industry, conflict, and cultural resilience. Its origins date back to ancient times, with evidence of settlement in the area as far back as the Bronze Age. The city began to develop significantly in the 17th century, during the Plantation of Ulster, when English and Scottish settlers arrived, establishing Belfast as a small but thriving port town. By the 19th century, Belfast became a major industrial hub during the Industrial Revolution, renowned for its shipbuilding, linen production, and engineering. The Harland & Wolff shipyard, where the ill-fated RMS Titanic was built, is one of the most notable legacies of this era.

In the 20th century, Belfast was at the heart of The Troubles, a period of violent conflict between unionists/loyalists (who wanted Northern Ireland to remain part of the United Kingdom) and nationalists/republicans (who sought unification with the Republic of Ireland). The conflict deeply affected the city, but the Good Friday Agreement of 1998 paved the way for peace and regeneration. Today, Belfast is a vibrant, modern city celebrated for its cultural festivals, historic landmarks, and attractions like the Titanic Belfast museum. Its transformation from an industrial powerhouse to a flourishing cultural and economic center reflects the resilience and determination of its people.

8. day

Greenock (Glasgow) United Kingdom
20. September, 7:00 - 18:00

A city located in the west of Scotland. It is the home of Greenock Morton FC, a football club currently playing in Scotland's second highest league.  Grenock was founded by a Scottish Baron in 1296 as the seat of the feudal Barony of Greenock.  The Scottish Reformation of 1560 resulted in the building of the town and local infrastructure and the subsequent growth of the town. Today, this is a very important town with a unique Scottish atmosphere and preservation of local architecture and traditions.

The historic port of Greenock in the United Kingdom has a lengthy and significant maritime history. Located on the southern bank of the Clyde River, Greenock began as a small fishing village in the 14th century. However, its importance grew significantly in the 18th century when it became a major hub for the Scottish shipbuilding industry, producing some of the finest ships in the world.

In the 19th century, the port of Greenock played a crucial role in the Industrial Revolution, serving as a key link between the UK and its colonies. The port's facilities were expanded to accommodate the increasing trade, including the building of Victoria Tower, which was once the tallest harbor clock tower in the world. During the World War II, Greenock served as an important naval base, providing vital support to the Allied war effort.

9. day

Liverpool United Kingdom
21. September, 7:00 - 17:00

Liverpool is a well-known cultural centre, especially in connection with popular music. The Beatles and others originated here. In the late 19th century it was considered the second largest port of empire, as the most goods passed through its harbour compared to other British cities except London. From historical sites hosting mysterious stories, to gastronomic experiences that caress the palate, to unique relaxing places where time seems to stand still. With a Riviera tour, experience Liverpool as you don't know it - uncover hidden treasures, enjoy the best local food and drink and be pampered in unrivalled comfort. Don't miss the chance to discover the beauty of Liverpool, a city that harbours countless tourist rarities and offers endless opportunities for relaxation.

The port of Liverpool has a rich and varied history, dating back to 1207 when it was established by King John. It was originally a small fishing village but began to grow in importance during the 18th Century due to the transatlantic slave trade. In the 19th Century, Liverpool was one of the most important ports in the world, with around 40% of the world's trade passing through its docks.

During the Industrial Revolution, the port expanded rapidly, with a network of docks and canals being built to accommodate the increasing volume of trade. However, the port's importance declined in the mid-20th Century due to changes in shipping technology and the decline of the British Empire. Today, the Port of Liverpool is the UK's third largest port and continues to play a vital role in the country's economy.

10. day

Falmouth United Kingdom
22. September, 11:00 - 18:00

The town lives mainly on fishing, shipping and tourism, which includes mainly the offer of canal cruises back inland to the town of Truro, but the offer is richer and companies are literally racing to catch their potential customers. The town centre itself is situated in the middle of all the action. The whole of Falmouth is then somewhat spread out and offers many paths, nooks and crannies, beautiful beaches. Falmouth is famous for its harbour. Together with the mouth of the Carrick Roads, it forms the third deepest natural harbour in the world, and the deepest in Western Europe, and has been the starting or finishing point of many record-breaking round-the-world voyages, such as those of Sir Robin Knox-Johnson and Ellen MacArthur.

Falmouth is a historic port town located on the south coast of Cornwall, known for its deep natural harbour, which is one of the largest in the world. The town's history dates back to the early 17th century when Sir John Killigrew founded it as a port to support maritime trade and defense. In 1613, King James I granted Falmouth its official charter, solidifying its status as a key trading and shipping hub. During the 17th and 18th centuries, Falmouth prospered as a centre for shipbuilding and pilchard fishing, becoming an essential connection for trade routes to the Americas, the Caribbean, and beyond. The town also played a crucial role in the Royal Mail Packet Service, which operated from Falmouth between 1688 and 1850, facilitating communication across the British Empire.

Falmouth's maritime significance continued into the 19th and 20th centuries with its involvement in various naval operations, particularly during the World Wars. Today, Falmouth is celebrated for its rich maritime heritage, which is showcased in attractions like the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Pendennis Castle, a Tudor fortress built by Henry VIII. The town's picturesque waterfront, bustling docks, and vibrant cultural scene make it a popular destination for visitors. It also serves as a gateway to the scenic Cornish coast.
