Arrival in Buenos Aires in the morning. Baggage collection, transfer by bus to the hotel in the city centre and check-in. Lunch at the hotel restaurant.
In the evening, we will depart for the "arrabales", the southern districts of Buenos Aires, where the tango dance style was born at the end of the 19th century. We will visit the renowned El Querandí restaurant and tango club, located in an old colonial house from 1920 with a remarkable Art Deco façade and dark wood panelling, where we will enjoy excellent Argentine cuisine and a breathtaking tango show. Return to the hotel after midnight.
Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is a city with a rich and dynamic history that blends European influences with a unique Latin American identity. Founded twice, first in 1536 by Pedro de Mendoza and then permanently in 1580 by Juan de Garay, Buenos Aires grew as a key port city due to its location along the Río de la Plata. During the colonial era, it became an important hub for trade, despite restrictions imposed by Spanish authorities. The city's independence-minded spirit culminated in its significant role in the May Revolution of 1810, which led to Argentina's independence from Spain.
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Buenos Aires underwent rapid growth, fueled by European immigration, particularly from Italy and Spain. This period saw the city transform into a cosmopolitan cultural and economic center, earning it the nickname "The Paris of South America" due to its elegant architecture and thriving arts scene. Today, Buenos Aires is celebrated for its vibrant neighborhoods like San Telmo and La Boca, the iconic Teatro Colón, and its status as the birthplace of tango. The city's mix of tradition and modernity makes it one of the most captivating capitals in the world.
Today we will spend the whole day exploring the beauty of Buenos Aires. In the morning, we will take a bus tour of the centre of Buenos Aires, a cosmopolitan city that reveals its immigrant heritage at every turn. We will visit Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada (the presidential palace), the colonial Cabildo town hall and the Metropolitan Cathedral. From there, we will continue to San Telmo, the oldest district of the city, with its markets, attractive nightlife and "tanguerias", restaurants with live tango music. We will end the first part of the city tour in Puerto Madero on the banks of the Rio de la Plata, where we will enjoy a traditional Argentine lunch at a local restaurant (included in the price of the cruise).
In the afternoon, we will set off on a tour following in the footsteps of famous natives of Buenos Aires. First, we will head to the famous Barrio de la Boca neighbourhood, where we will visit the Boca Juniors football club, for which the famous Diego Maradona played for a while. During the tour, we will learn about the greatest local passion - football. From the stadium, we will continue to Caminito Street with its world-famous colourful facades. Its winding route is due to the fact that a stream originally flowed here, which flowed into the Riachuelo. This is followed by free time to buy souvenirs and the famous Yerba maté. From La Boca, we will head to the Florés neighbourhood, the birthplace of another important native of Buenos Aires - Jorge Maria Bergoglio, also known as Pope Francis. We will visit his birthplace and the beautiful church where he was baptised. On the way back to the city, we will visit other interesting places and return to the hotel.
Please note: the afternoon tour is on foot and is not suitable for people with severe walking difficulties.

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the port in Buenos Aires, boarding with the assistance of a representative, and late lunch. Tour of the ship with a representative. Accommodation and free time. In the evening, departure for the Rio de la Plata, the mighty funnel-shaped mouth of the Paraná and Uruguay rivers into the Atlantic Ocean. The Rio de la Plata is the widest "river" in the world - at its end it reaches a width of up to 220 km, less than half the width of the Czech Republic from east to west. Nevertheless, it is only 2-8 metres deep, which is why new channels must constantly be built for ships sailing to the capitals of Buenos Aires and Montevideo. More with our representative.

Today we have a full-day trip with a local guide through the streets of Rio de Janeiro (included in the price of the trip). Our journey will begin in the Cosme Velho district, from where a cog railway travels through the Tijuca Forest to the top of Corcovado Mountain, where the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer stands at a height of 710 metres. The summit offers breathtaking panoramic views of Sugarloaf Mountain, Guanabara Bay, Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, and Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Afterwards, we will visit other famous sights in Rio - Copacabana Beach, Selarón's Stairs, the Sambadrome, Maracanã Stadium, the city centre and, if time permits, we will also have the opportunity to buy souvenirs.
Please note: due to the number of people, there may not be time for lunch during the tour.
The port of Rio de Janeiro, located on the southeastern coast of Brazil, has a rich history dating back to the 16th century. The city's natural harbour was discovered by Portuguese explorers on January 1, 1502, mistaking the bay for a river mouth, thus naming it Rio de Janeiro, meaning 'River of January'. The port quickly became a crucial strategic point for the Portuguese colonial empire, serving as a major hub for the transatlantic slave trade.
In the 19th century, the port underwent significant transformations. The Porto Maravilha project, aimed at revitalizing the port area, was implemented in 2010, in preparation for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics. Today, the port of Rio de Janeiro is one of the most important seaports in Brazil, handling a wide variety of cargo such as iron ore, oil, coffee, and manufactured goods.
After a busy schedule in Rio, we can look forward to a whole day of relaxation – in a veritable paradise on earth. The charming seaside town of Búzios, not far from Rio de Janeiro, wins the hearts of everyone who visits. Its beautiful beaches with crystal-clear water and relaxed atmosphere make it the ideal retreat for both relaxation and adventure. In the 1970s, thanks to a "secret" visit by French actress Brigitte Bardot, this small fishing village was transformed overnight into a popular resort, where you will find luxury hotels, bars and cosy restaurants serving fresh seafood. In one of the local bars, we will invite you to try one of the "three symbols of Brazil" - the famous alcoholic drink caipirinha (included in the price of the trip).
Tender: due to the size of the port, the ship does not dock at the pier, but in the open sea. Passengers are transported to the mainland by shuttle boats.
Búzios, officially known as Armação dos Búzios, is a picturesque town located on a peninsula in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Once a quiet fishing village, it gained international attention in the 1960s when French actress Brigitte Bardot visited and highlighted its natural beauty. Her visit transformed Búzios into a glamorous destination, often compared to Saint-Tropez for its blend of rustic charm and cosmopolitan appeal. The town's cobblestone streets, boutique shops, and fine dining establishments reflect its sophisticated yet laid-back vibe, making it a favorite for both Brazilian and international tourists.
Known for its 23 beautiful beaches, Búzios offers a variety of experiences, from the tranquil waters of Ferradura Beach to the lively surfing scene at Geribá Beach. Visitors can enjoy activities like snorkeling, diving, and boat tours, allowing them to explore the region's crystal-clear waters and marine life. Beyond its natural beauty, Búzios carries a cultural richness influenced by its Portuguese colonial past and indigenous heritage. Today, it remains a top destination in Brazil, loved for its stunning coastal landscapes, vibrant village atmosphere, and opportunities for both relaxation and adventure.
Ilhabela (translated as Beautiful Island) is a picturesque archipelago on the northern coast of the Brazilian state of São Paulo, about 205 km from the largest Brazilian city of the same name. Most of the island (about 85%) is protected as part of Ilhabela State Park. Ilhabela is famous for its lush mountain scenery, dense Atlantic rainforest, more than 40 kilometres of beaches and about 300 waterfalls. We will anchor at sea again, from where boats will take us to the historic centre of Vila with its shops, restaurants and the Nossa Senhora D'Ajuda Church from 1806. Right in the harbour, there will be an opportunity to purchase trips around the island.
Tender: due to the size of the port, the ship does not dock at the pier, but in the open sea. Passengers are transported to the mainland by shuttle boats.
Long before Europeans arrived, the Tupinambá people thrived on Ilhabela’s fertile land and abundant marine life. In 1502, Amerigo Vespucci anchored here, marking its first European encounter. Over the 18th and 19th centuries, Portuguese settlers and whalers established communities, while hidden coves served as pirate hideouts, leaving a legacy of legends.
The town of Nossa Senhora D’Ajuda was founded in 1805, anchoring local society in fishing and whaling. In 1977, the creation of Ilhabela State Park protected 85% of the island’s rainforest and waterfalls. Today, sustainable tourism flourishes, inviting visitors to explore both its historic roots and pristine natural wonders.
Balneário Camboriú is a vibrant Brazilian resort with an unmistakable skyline, combining beautiful beaches with the modern atmosphere of a Brazilian metropolis. This popular tourist destination attracts visitors with its long sandy beaches, turquoise waters and iconic skyline, which has earned it the nickname "the Dubai of Brazil" (Balneário Camboriú is currently home to four of the five tallest buildings in South America). During the tour, we will invite you on a trip on a unique cable car to the amazing Unipraias Nature Park, where you can enjoy views of the city, as well as a 750-metre zipline ride to one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil (time permitting).
Tender: due to the size of the port, the ship does not dock at the pier, but in the open sea. Passengers are transported to the mainland by shuttle boats.
The history of Port Balneario Camboriu is deeply linked to the development of the city of Balneario Camboriu in Brazil. The city, initially inhabited by the Carijo Indians, witnessed the arrival of the Portuguese and Spanish in the 16th century, which led to a rich mix of cultures and the growth of the port.
In the 20th century, Port Balneario Camboriu became a crucial point for trade and tourism due to its strategic location. The port grew rapidly, catering to not only the local population but also international tourists and traders. Today, it stands as a symbol of Brazil's economic growth and tourism industry, showcasing the country's rich history and vibrant culture.
Punta del Este, nicknamed the "Saint-Tropez of South America", represents a fusion of cosmopolitan luxury and the wild Atlantic nature typical of South America. Visitors from across the continent are mainly attracted by the local beaches - the gentler Playa Mansa with its family atmosphere and the untamed Playa Brava with its iconic sculpture of fingers in the sand. The experience is complemented by the white labyrinth of Casapueblo, 13 km away, a "habitable sculpture" built by Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró without using right angles, inspired by chimango bird nests and the concept of a bread oven.
Tender: due to the size of the port, the ship does not dock at the pier, but in the open sea. Passengers are transported to the mainland by shuttle boats.
The origins of the Port of Punta Del Este can be traced back to the early 20th century. It was established as a small fishing port in Uruguay and has since evolved into a popular marina and bustling tourist destination.
Over the years, the port has undergone significant development and expansion. A significant milestone was the construction of the Marina Punta Del Este in the 1990s, which has the capacity to accommodate up to 500 vessels. The port is now considered one of the most important in South America, attracting thousands of tourists every year with its luxury yachts, upscale restaurants, and glamorous nightlife.
In the morning, we will return to Buenos Aires, our final stop. Breakfast will be followed by disembarkation and immigration control. On the way back to the airport, we will visit a shopping centre right in the city centre, within sight of the biggest sights (about 15 minutes from the Obelisk), where you can do some last-minute shopping or grab a bite to eat before leaving Argentina (depending on the time available). This will be followed by a transfer to the airport and a flight home with a stopover.
