Pisa Italy
26. September, 9:00 - 11:00

Pisa is world-famous for its Leaning Tower (Torre Pendente) and other Romanesque buildings on the Piazza dei Miracoli ("Square of Miracles"). Pisa was founded at the mouth of the River Arno, probably by the Greeks. According to Latin writers, it was established in the 13th century BC, 550 years before the founding of Rome. It temporarily belonged to the Etruscans; in 1991, an Etruscan necropolis was documented during archaeological excavations at the Garibaldi Arena. In ancient Rome, Pisa was one of the centres of rule over the Mediterranean. In the Middle Ages, the effectively independent Pisan Republic was an important trading port and one of the maritime republics.

2. day

Livorno (Pisa) Italy
26. September, 12:00 - 19:00

Upon arrival at the port, check-in and boarding follows. In the afternoon, a tour of the ship, accommodation and a safety drill before departure. Don't miss the first departure from the port. Also, don't miss the first served dinner to enjoy the superb Italian cuisine. After dinner, we will visit the ship's theatre and finish the evening with a drink at the bar.

The port of Livorno, located in the region of Tuscany, Italy, has a rich history dating back to the Roman times when it was known as Portus Pisanus. In the late 16th century, under the Medici family's rule, the port was extensively developed and became an important hub for trade and commerce. The Medici Port, as it came to be known, attracted merchants from all over Europe.

In the 17th and 18th centuries, Livorno became a "free port", attracting a diverse population of people, including Greeks, Jews, Armenians and others who contributed to its cultural and economic growth. The port was heavily bombed during World War II, causing significant damage. However, it was rebuilt and today, it continues to be one of the major seaports in Italy, handling a wide range of cargo including oil, coal, and container traffic.

3. day

Marseille France
27. September, 10:00 - 18:00

From the old port, we head to the iconic Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde, which offers stunning views of the city and the world-famous Château d'If, where the hero of Alexandre Dumas' novel, the Count of Monte Cristo, was imprisoned. Marseille will be spread out before you. The walk up to the basilica with our delegate alone will be an unforgettable experience. You will see the locations where the film TAXI was shot, the old port with its fortresses and many other points of interest. We recommend the MSC Cruises transfer from the port to the city centre; it is truly essential at this destination (approx. 17 EUR).

The port of Marseille, also known as the Old Port, is located in the heart of Marseille, France. Its history dates back to antiquity, around 600 BC, when it was founded by Greek mariners from Phocaea. Over the centuries, the port has played a significant role in the economic and cultural development of the region, serving as a major hub for trade and transportation.

In the Middle Ages, the port became an important center for the Mediterranean trade. Despite periods of decline, it continued to flourish, especially during the Renaissance when it was modernized and fortified. In the 19th century, the port underwent a massive expansion, solidifying its status as one of the world's leading maritime ports. Today, it remains a vital part of Marseille's identity and economy.

4. day

Barcelona Spain
28. September, 8:00 - 19:00

In Barcelona, history blends with modern life, culture mingles with outstanding cuisine, and every alleyway hides a story waiting to be heard. Don't miss the chance to experience Barcelona in all its glory \u2013 from the Gothic Quarter to world-famous landmarks such as the Sagrada Familia and Gaudí's houses, from sun-drenched beaches to gourmet delights that will pamper your taste buds. We recommend the MSC Cruises transfer from the port to the city centre; it is truly essential at this destination (approx. 12 EUR).

Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, boasts a history that dates back over two millennia. Founded as a Roman colony called Barcino in the 1st century BCE, its early development is still visible in remnants such as Roman walls and structures in the Gothic Quarter. During the Middle Ages, Barcelona flourished as a major maritime power within the Crown of Aragon, becoming a vital center for trade and culture. The city's medieval landmarks, like the Barcelona Cathedral, reflect this period of growth and significance. However, political upheavals in later centuries, including the decline of Catalonia's independence, temporarily slowed its development.

The 19th century marked Barcelona’s cultural and architectural renaissance. The Catalan Renaissance and the Modernisme movement brought artists and architects like Antoni Gaudí, whose works, including Sagrada Família and Casa Batlló, transformed the city into a showcase of creativity. The 1992 Olympics further revitalized Barcelona, modernizing its infrastructure and boosting its global profile. Today, Barcelona is a thriving cultural, economic, and tourist hub, blending its rich history with modern urban life. Its iconic landmarks, Mediterranean coastline, and vibrant Catalan identity make it one of the world’s most beloved cities.

La Goulette Tunisia
30. September, 8:00 - 18:00

La Goulette, the maritime gateway to the heart of Tunisia, is a place where history meets modern bustle, ancient monuments tell stories spanning millennia, and the aromas of traditional Tunisian dishes fill the market alleyways. Imagine strolling along ancient stone paths, discovering hidden gems of the city, tasting local delicacies and taking in the picturesque views. La Goulette is a destination that leaves a truly indelible mark on every visitor's heart. We recommend the optional excursion with our delegate (surcharge approx. 1,990 CZK).

The history of the port of La Goulette in Tunisia dates back to the 16th century. It was originally built by the Ottomans as a fortress, known as Halq al Wadi. Over the years, it has served as a vital port for merchants, pirates, and naval fleets, playing a significant role in the economic and military history of Tunisia.

In the 19th century, La Goulette gained prominence as the primary port for the city of Tunis. Its strategic location made it a hub for trade between Europe and North Africa. Under the French colonial regime, the port was modernized and expanded, further boosting its importance. Today, La Goulette is a popular destination for cruise ships, reflecting its enduring significance as a maritime gateway to Tunisia.
