We have just completed another successful year of the travel fairHoliday World & Region World in Prague. Upon returning to our offices and addressing all your inquiries, it was time for a small reflection. This year's edition was exceptional for us right from the first minutes, and we bring you a short report on what it was like.+
This year's start was truly explosive. Right on Thursday morning, we had alive broadcast entry into the Snídaně on TV Nova. As soon as we left the television screens, we fully focused on opening the gates of the exhibition.
The first day traditionally belonged to the professional public. Our booth became a meeting point with our partner travel agencies, and we were also pleased by the great interest from students as part of their school projects. We were also surprised by the large number of foreign visitors interested in the specific style of travel that Riviera Tour offers.
A novelty this year was the“Round Tables”. Throughout the day, you could chat directly with the director of the travel agency, Pavel Číž, about the upcoming novelties and his personal experiences in preparing new destinations that you can visit with Riviera Tour in the coming years.
The first day flew by, and in the evening we had the opportunity to attend the festive Gala evening marking the opening of the entire Fair. As the evening drew to a close, we left the gates of the Fair and looked forward to what the next day would bring.
Friday morning was already running in our standard rhythm: a good breakfast, preparing the exhibition, unpacking fresh catalogs, and polishing ship models. To make your visit more enjoyable, the popularAperol Spritz was also present, which is inseparable from the nautical atmosphere.
What was different this year?
Interactive boards: At the booth, you could view videos from cruises or browse our website on large screens.
Huge interest: Time flew by at an incredible pace under the onslaught of your inquiries.
The highlight of the day was the announcement of the main prize of the entire fair on the main stage. Riviera Tour donated the main prize – a family cruise for 2 adults and 2 children in the Mediterranean on the MSC Euribia. It was a great honor for us to present this gift to the winners, and we are already looking forward to meeting them on board!
In the evening, we then changed our company uniforms for formal attire and headed to theDivadlo Na Jezerce for the performance“Práskni do bot”. We laughed so hard that our bellies hurt on the way home!
Saturday was all about family comfort. The exhibition was filled with families with children, and our booth gradually emptied – the last stacks of catalogs disappeared, and space was freed up where boxes had stood just in the morning.
What pleased us the most? What always brings the biggest smile to our faces are visits from ourregular clients. It was amazing to see that many of you came in our Riviera Tour t-shirts or MSC Cruises hoodies. This community of “sailors” is what makes our work meaningful.
Three days at the fair were intense, beautiful, and inspiring. Thank you for your time, for your inquiries, and especially for your support. Your energy is our driving force for the days ahead and planning new adventures.
We look forward to seeing you – on board one of our ships and again next year in Prague!
