Information about the entrance fee to Venice

The local authorities in Venice have introduced a new entrance fee for tourists spending a day in Venice. Starting on 25 April 2024, visitors who visit Venice for one day only are required to pay €5 before entry. This fee is only valid on selected days listed on the Venice Access Fee website.

The fee will be paid on the dedicated Venice Access Fee website (https://cda.ve.it/en), which will issue a QR code to be presented in case of inspection. The QR code is only required to enter and visit the Old Town.

Even those guests who are exempt from payment (see details below) must register on the above website and obtain a QR code;

Travellers who must pay a fee:

If you have purchased a trip to Venice with RIVIERA TOUR, this fee is included in the price of the trip and you do not need to register.

If you are travelling individually, you are required to make your own registration and payment at your own cost and responsibility.
