MSC Cruises today announced the expansion of its food and beverage offerings with a new concept, "World's Greatest Bars." As part of the launch, two of Barcelona's world-famous bars have opened "pop-ups" on board selected ships in the MSC Cruises fleet.
Jacques Van Staden, Vice President of Food and Beverage at MSC Cruises, commented: "We are delighted to bring the concept of 'World's Greatest Bars' on board our ships to create world-class and innovative experiences for our guests. The new program takes our food and beverage offerings to new heights and provides unforgettable experiences never before seen at sea. We are thrilled to have such exciting bars on board, such as Sips and Paradiso, rated as some of the best in the world. These two bars are incredibly hard to get intoright now, so we are thrilled that our guests will be able to sample their drinks right on the ship."
Master mixologists from partner bars Paradiso and Sips personally trained qualified teams of ship's staff to impart the secrets of flavour combinations and cocktail-making techniques that have made them famous. The "World's Greatest Bars" programme was launched on 1. April 2024 and will be available to guests of MSC Cruises' two newest ships for six months: the Paradiso bar will open its window on board MSC World Europa and Sips on board MSC Euribia.
MSC Cruises is continually striving to improve its beverage and food offerings on board its ships through new concepts. The latest so far is the Helios Wine Bar on board MSC Euribia, which offers an immersive digital experience that takes you through the history of the wine on your table as you taste. Other recent innovations include The Gin Project, with more than 70 craft gins, and Masters of the Sea, the first microbrewery at sea to make a special beer from desalinated seawater - both bars are located on board the largest ship in the MSC World Europa.
