Riviera Tour has been awarded the Joyful Certificate 2024
Riviera Tour Travel Agency has been awarded the prestigious Joyful Certificate by Zdravotní klaun, o.p.s. for the year 2024. This important award reflects the company's long-term support and active approach in the field of charitable activities, specifically in projects aimed at making the stay of patients in hospital facilities more pleasant.
Zdravotní klaun, o.p.s. (Health Clown) is a non-profit organization that has been bringing laughter and joy to hospitals across the Czech Republic for more than 20 years. Professional health clowns visit children's wards of hospitals, geriatric wards and facilities for the elderly to help patients better manage their stay and treatment.
"If a company is successful and thriving, it should donate at least a portion of its profits to a worthwhile cause. We at RIVIERA TOUR do it again a little differently. We don't pour money into something where we are seen or where the media takes notice, but we try to help where we see it. We've helped a lot of specific ordinary people when a problem has come into their lives out of the blue. But only we and they know. We don't want to vent it to the world.
And then maybe we help where we think it makes sense. Like the Vsetín Diakonia. It's wonderful when you see the joy in the eyes of the elderly and sick when you take them on a trip. You see the gratitude in their eyes. Then we help children in particular - for example, our sports club, which has over 120 members and is literally struggling with its budget. So that's where it's needed. And every year we help just the Health Clowns. Clowns who give sick children a laugh. Because that's where we think it's most important. To make sick children laugh too, because laughter heals," says Pavel Číž, CEO of Riviera Group.
