Riviera Tour, a subsidiary of the Riviera Group and the leader in cruises with MSC Cruises in the Czech Republic, is launching a new website offering individual cruises with private transportation to the port. The company is developing its services in the field of individual cruises, which is a promising sector of tourism.
The launch of the new website is part of Riviera Group's long-term development plan. As part of its first phase, the formation of Riviera Journeys, a luxury cruise company with Explora Journeys, was announced on Saturday 3 February 2024. The new individual cruise website launched its test phase a day earlier, on Friday, February 2, 2024, and is now going live.
The new website aims to make it easier for users to find their dream cruises. To this end, it uses advanced technologies to provide unprecedented speed and fluidity of loading in an attractive graphic design that keeps up with the times. Work on the site has been underway for almost a year in collaboration with Stredly, with an emphasis on the most intuitive user experience and one-click accessibility to all required information. The new website is as clear for the younger generation, for whom it is primarily intended due to the type of product, as it is for older users.
Also new to the new website is the Reservation Form, where you can book an entire cruise in a few clicks (here, for example, is the MSC Lirica Western Mediterranean cruise reservation form). Just fill in your name, surname, contact details and number of people and click submit. Within minutes (subject to availability), a Riviera Tour staff member will contact you to finalize the details of the cruise and suggest additional on-board activities. You can book a cruise literally within a few tens of minutes.
In the Booking Form you will also find another novelty, which is the option to choose between the Travel and Basic Package, which Riviera Tour CK is using to meet the ever-increasing demand for the cheapest possible cruises. While the Travel Package is more expensive, it offers all of the Riviera Tour services you've come to expect - 24-hour assistance in case of problems on the ship, the option to purchase on-ship services up to 60 days before departure, fully prepared departure instructions and much more. The Basic package, on the other hand, offers the lowest possible price on the market, but without the additional services provided by Riviera Tour. It is therefore entirely up to you which level of service you choose for your dream cruise.
This is the part that took the Riviera Tour and the specialists from Stredla the most time to work on, but the result is undoubtedly worth it. The new website provides information about all the ships of MSC Cruises in a quality and scope that is unparalleled in Europe.
Each ship is worked out to the smallest detail. Here you will find detailed technical data about each vessel, its current location, a video presentation, its greatest advantages, an overview of all cabins with photos, the characteristics of the ship with a brief history of its construction and its orientation plan. In four sections, you will find descriptions and photographs of all the ship's important public areas - from restaurants and bars to entertainment and animation areas, swimming pools, sports and relaxation facilities, children's clubs and the infirmary.
In addition, all these locations will be marked with their exact position on the ship in the future. In addition, each page of the ship already offers a really giant photo gallery that allows clients to view the ship before they set sail. At the same time, you can also see the range of cruises they are currently sailing on, along with their prices.
With a bit of exaggeration it can be said that with this one page you almost have no chance of getting lost on the boat. The result is the most detailed guide to the company's ships in Central Europe, and quite possibly in the whole of Europe. Don't believe it? click here to see for yourself.
MSC Cruises ships sail the waters of the world. It's up to you where you want to go with us. From south to north and east to west, the choice is wide. Would you like to find out about the places where the ship will sail on your individual cruise? That's no problem on the new website. Each port has its own page on our website, where you can find everything you need before visiting it: a map, a description of the most beautiful sights and a brief history (here, for example, detail of the port of Ajaccio in Corsica). In addition, we are gradually adding to this section tips for excursions in the surrounding area so that you can really enjoy your visit to the full.
Another interesting thing about this part is that artificial intelligence (AI) is partly working on it. There are more than 300 ports visited by MSC Cruises worldwide, with more being added every month. Thanks to the work of AI, you have real-time information about every port in the world within seconds of MSC staff adding it to the port database.
Inextricably linked to the ports is the Destinations section. This too has undergone changes on the new site. Asia, South America and South Africa, which were spun off from the former Luxury Cruises destination. The new addition is Canary Islands and Madeira, which MSC Cruises added to its itineraries in early March.
(Pssst, we have a tip for you: don't forget to click on destinationAround the World Cruises. You will find the largest number of the world's most beautiful ports of call, as well as the itineraries of these cruises in 2025 and 2026)
The last section, which has undergone a significant renovation, especially from a graphic point of view, is the News section. On the homepage there is a new tiled news menu with beautiful photos and a search engine that allows you to search for news even a year ago. The display of individual news items has also been changed. We are now marking the most important parts of the text, which makes it easier to read and also improves the overall impression of the page.
The interval for adding new articles will also change. You can look forward to more frequent additions in the future, as well as new sections, which we are currently working on in Riviera Tour.
That's all the news about the new website for today. There are of course more new features on it, but we think that's enough for one article today. So we have no choice but to invite you to check out the new site - just click on the Riviera Tour logo in the top left corner of this page or this link.
P.S.: We are aware that nothing is 100% perfect. That's why we want to ask for your help. We would be very happy if you could send us feedback - tips for improvement and bugs on the site can be sent to [email protected]
