Market prices for cruises
Unlike hotel bookings, the cruise company offers cruises at market rates. This means that the actual price of the cruise is based on the current sales of the cruise company. In practice, this means that the quotation is valid for that particular moment. If you don't accept the offer, the price may change to a lower or even higher price level. Therefore, it may very well happen that you buy a cruise for, for example, 20.000 CZK and your colleague at the table with the same cabin and service will pay 100% more for the cabin.
Current cruise price
On our website we list the current prices of cruises with transport and delegate per person. The price of the cruise is subject to change according to the current situation. As a rule, the cheapest prices are offered in FIRST MINUTE about a year and a half before the cruise starts, usually in April, when we prepare a new cruise catalogue. The difference between the catalogue price and the first minute offer can be more than 12.000 CZK per person, therefore we recommend early booking of the cruise/cruise with transport and delegate;
What the cruise price consists of
Our credo is to quote the total price of the cruise. However, cruise companies have the price divided into several items. Therefore, at first glance, you may find that some competing offers are better value for money. However, we would like to remind you to always compare the total price of your cruise and, above all, to make sure that you will not have to pay extra before you leave on your cruise or even on the ship. That is why our offer on the website for cruises with transport and delegate is also listed as complete price per person.
What does the price of a cruise consist of?

Port taxes
Port taxes are a mandatory charge for embarkation and disembarkation services, for porterage services at embarkation and disembarkation and for embarkation and disembarkation services at each destination and is automatically added to the cruise price in your cruise contract.
Service charges
On the ship you don't pay at the bars with money, but with a special ship card. There are no tips, gratuities or similar charges that are common in restaurants and hotels. There are also no charges for the use of sunbeds, pool service , use of pools and hot tubs etc. There are also no entrance fees for the theatre, animation programmes, discos, port charges, accommodation fees etc. All these charges are included in the single service charge.
The cruise company charges a service charge of approx. 12 EUR/night (Caribbean from approx. 13.5 USD/night) per adult and approx. 6 EUR/night per child from 2-12 years old. The service charge is automatically added to the cruise price as of 1 December 2023 and is included in the total cruise price stated in the cruise contract.
Bankruptcy insurance and contribution to the guarantee fund
Every travel agency must be insured against bankruptcy by law and must pay a contribution to the guarantee fund. These payments are compulsory and significantly affect the price of the tour. The majority of cruise sellers sell cruises in the travel agency mode. However, this shifts all risks directly to the client and disclaims any liability in the event of problems.
Riviera Tour goes its own way and all our tours and sales in travel agency mode. This service means a sense of security and safety for you on your travels. If you want to have security and peace of mind, please make sure before purchasing your cruise whether you are purchasing it in travel agency mode as a cruise or in travel agency mode as a tour.
Price of transport to the port and back
The full price of the cruise/cruise with transport and delegate includes transport to and from the port, including any transfers. This item is included in the tour price and cannot be changed or deducted, even if you use your own transport.
Delegate services
You will appreciate the services of a delegate especially if you are going on a cruise for the first time. The delegate is a really welcome help in organizing the trip, embarkation, disembarkation, dealing with various situations on board the ship and especially when visiting destinations, which will be especially appreciated by clients with a language barrier.

Further information
Prices are per person and cruise. The minimum number of persons in a cabin is two. If you are interested in a single cabin, we will advise you of the price on request, there is an additional charge of 50-100%. On request we will send you quotations in outdoor cabins with window, balcony cabins or suites or special offer in YACHT CLUB.
Children
The possibility of applying discounts for children under 18 years are on request according to the available capacity of the cruise company's cabins. They are always subject to a minimum of two adults per cabin.
When to buy a cruise
During the year, prices vary according to the availability of individual boats. As a rule, the shorter the time to departure - the higher the price. Please note that some cruise circuits can sell out up to a year in advance. As a rule, our clients buy cruises about 1 and a half years in advance for a good price.
How much will I pay when booking a cruise
When confirming a travel contract, a basic payment of CZK 15,000 per travel contract is always paid. If the travel contract is accompanied by air transport, the full price of the air transport is added to the advance payment (air transport cannot be cancelled). The supplementary payment of the travel contract is always made within 55 days prior to embarkation.
