Children definitely belong on cruises and life on a ship without children would be almost unthinkable. Even the cruise company itself is very attentive to children and has a special programme for children in the children's clubs and junior clubs from 3 to 18 years of age.
CK Riviera Tour in cooperation with its partners has created an interesting program for families with children. If you purchase a cruise at sea with Riviera Tour, you have the opportunity to apply the so-called family package on selected cruises, where children can travel with you.
Children up to the age of 5 can sail on most selected cruises for the price of service charge and port charges only. The conditions and rules for the family package are determined by the availability of family cabins on the ship and the sharing of a minimum of two adults and children in one cabin. You may bring a child with you on the cruise, who need not be directly related. Most often two children, if you wish to take 3 children you must contact the CK to request such a cabin. Not all ships have cabins that can accommodate 5 people. Children (2-12yrs) pay half the service charge unless otherwise stated. For cruises with transportation and a delegate, excursions, transfers or other tour operator services are included in the children's rate.

Children on cruises
All children must have their own passport. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the cruise. No client can be embarked without a valid passport, even if the cruise is within the EU. Ships enter the international zone during the cruise and must comply with international regulations. Furthermore, you must follow the applicable regulations of the country you are visiting. In particular, please note that you must carry your passport with you at all times when visiting Croatia, Tunisia, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, Ukraine and Russia, even when disembarking.
There are free kids clubs on the ship. Your child can visit them for just a few minutes or at any time during the cruise. Parents always accompany their children to the club and must also pick them up. The cruise is designed as a family cruise unless otherwise stated. Therefore, children are welcome even on the evening shows and generally children go to bed later on the ship. Children are not allowed access to the casino.
Children's discount cruise only. If at your request RIVIERA TOUR provides you with transportation to the port, hotel accommodation in the port, insurance and other services, you pay for these services according to the calculations that are sent to you prior to the conclusion of the contract. We recommend taking advantage of the FIRST MINUTE offer, where it is possible to choose a cabin from the available cabins on the ship. In the later offer, cabins are usually at a higher price level and cabins with child accommodation are sold out considerably. Thereafter, the choice of cabin is very limited. It can happen, especially with the LAST MINUTE offer, that a cabin is available on the ship but children cannot be accommodated due to the maximum quota.
If you need to select a specific cruise date or a specific cruise, we do not recommend the LAST MINUTE option. The shipping company prefers market flexible pricing. FIRST MINUTE prices and promotional prices are the most advantageous. It is common for ships to be sold out, or nearly sold out, well before sailing. If the ship is almost sold out, the last cabins are sold at the maximum price - the catalogue price. We recommend choosing from the FIRST MINUTE offer. At your request, we can prepare for you, depending on the availability of the ship, a family package, where it is possible to purchase a second cabin at a discount, especially for older children. These cabins are next to each other (tandem) and connected to each other by doors, or the cabins are placed next to each other or opposite each other. As far as transport to the port by bus is concerned, smaller children usually manage the journey better than adults. For cruises with transport and a delegate, there is a minimum age limit of 3 years for participants. When travelling by bus, children must have their own car seat, which is provided by the client and they are fully responsible for this safety measure. In case you want to transport a stroller on the bus, this must be reported and entered in the travel contract. If the pushchair is not declared, the driver has the right to refuse to transport it.

Together in the cabin
Two adults and two children under 17
Book a cabin together with your children. Cabins are double occupancy and up to two children under 18 sleep in extra beds. Extra beds are designed according to the type of cabin and either a folding bed or a sofa bed. Two adults per cabin are required. Your children travel free on most cruises under 12 years of age. Children 12-17 years old pay from 4.190Kč and on selected cruises, especially in high season, holidays and public holidays, these older children pay a fee from approx. 6.990Kč. Transport to the port and other additional services are already paid by all children according to the prescribed price lists.

Interconnecting cabins next to each other
Are your children a little older or do you want to enjoy the exclusivity of your own cabin? On selected ships and tours, we offer you the option to stay in adjoining cabins with a connecting door. Enjoy privacy but keep your children under control. Families in two interconnecting cabins will be charged a discount from the second cabin. Contact us, we will find a suitable solution for you.

Extra cabin for children
Give your older children the luxury of their own cabin at a discounted price. Parents pay the regular price (catalogue price), while children pay a reduced price. This offer is valid for the Bella and Fantastica categories. The cruise company does not guarantee that the cabins will be of the same category and that the cabin will be located next to the first cabin. Suitable for older children. Minimum of 1 adult must be accommodated in each cabin. Cabins cannot be occupied by children under 18 years of age only!
One with all
One adult and child or up to 3 children
Can your partner travel with you? No problem. We offer you the opportunity to enjoy a holiday with your children in a shared cabin. The adult pays the catalogue price and the first child pays the discounted price according to the current offer of the cruise company. The other children pay only the children's flat rate. Please note the necessary approval to travel-see below.
These cabins are on request only, subject to availability of the cruise company and must be requested prior to entering into a travel contract. Discount applies to cabin price only ( does not apply to service and port charges, transportation to port, delegate services, excursions and transfers). This discount cannot be applied retrospectively.
Please note that only children up to 18 years of age cannot be accommodated in a cabin. Also, children up to the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times when disembarking the ship.
Cruises for the price of transport only
In our offer you can also find special cruises where children on cruises with transport and delegate have a cruise completely free of charge and only transport to the port and service fee on the ship are paid. (approx. 4,5 eur/child/night). On selected cruises, children and juniors are free of charge up to and including 17 years of age (Child-age up to 11 years of age-may not exceed 11 years of age by the end of the cruise, junior-age from 12 to 17 years of age-may not exceed 17 years of age by the end of the cruise).
Written parental consent when travelling abroad
When travelling abroad, does a child need written parental consent if travelling unaccompanied?
If the country in question requires such confirmation, this is indicated on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, in the chapter Information on conditions of travel to individual countries of the world, in the section dedicated to a specific country. In order to verify or supplement this information, you should contact the embassy of the country in question in the Czech Republic directly.
Even if this document is not required by the other state, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic recommends that whenever a minor citizen of the Czech Republic travels abroad without the accompaniment of his/her parent or legal guardian, the accompanying person should have the parent's written consent for the specific trip. In the written consent, it is recommended to sufficiently identify the child (name and surname, date of birth and travel document number), the same way as the accompanying person, the destination and the approximate date of travel. The person giving the written consent shall not have his/her signature verified by a notary or a municipal authority. In the case of very young children, a photocopy of the birth certificate may be attached.
In addition to Czech, it is recommended to give written consent in a foreign language applicable in the destination for which it is intended.

Supervision of minors on a cruise
Please note that children up to the age of 18* must always be assisted by a parent or guardian when disembarking the boat. If parents are not present when disembarking the boat, security will not allow the child to leave the boat. The cruise company does not allow minors to remain in the cabin without at least one adult present.
*On cruises where at least one of the destinations is in the USA, the age of minor is 21 years or older.
