As part of our new project, INDIVIDUAL CRUISES WITH RIVIERA TOUR, we can offer you a truly enormous selection of cruises. The selection is very diverse, with more than 3,000 cruises available. With us, you can see the whole world. You can go on a cruise on your own – individually. You can get to the port by car, train, bus or plane. We will help you arrange everything, including parking your car at the port. You can also extend your holiday, for example by staying at a hotel in one of the destinations. We can help you with this too.

What is an individual cruise?

The basic condition for participating in individual cruises is that at least one person must be able to communicate in one of the world's languages. This opens up the possibility of travelling and discovering beautiful places and destinations around the world. The advantage of individual cruises is the huge range of cruise routes and destinations on offer and, above all, the complete freedom and possibility to organise the entire trip or cruise yourself. As already mentioned, we are ready to arrange parking for your car in ports, we can arrange hotel accommodation and, if necessary, trips with MSC Cruises.

How to book a cruise

You will find an advanced cruise search engine on our website.

Here you can filter cruises by destination, month of departure, preferred ship, or by date and price of the cruise (from cheapest to most expensive). You will then see a wide range of cruises, including maps of cruise routes, cruise dates, ports of embarkation and, most importantly, the price, which is the direct base price of MSC Cruises in Czech korunas (CZK).

If you click on a cruise that interests you, you will see additional options and prices for individual cabins and the planned cruise itinerary. Our system is linked to the sales system of MSC Cruises, which sells cruises at market prices. Therefore, each published offer is valid only for that specific time. If you postpone your purchase, the price of the cruise may change. Once you have chosen your cruise, you can contact our travel agency and we will make the reservation based on your requirements and prepare everything you need.

However, you can book your cruise immediately online by clicking on the "Book" button and filling in the necessary details. Depending on how busy they are, a Riviera Tour employee will then contact you to finalise the details of your cruise and suggest other activities available on board.

Destinations for individual cruises

With Riviera Tour, you can currently sail to 12 destinations and more than 315 ports around the world. In addition to cruises to individual destinations around the world, you can also take advantage of our transoceanic Long Cruises or annual World Cruises (all information about our destinations can be found in the section Destinations and Ports section). Western Mediterranean

Most of our travellers choose these cruises first. They are attracted by the famous names of the destinations visited, but also by the opportunity to extend their summer with cruises to Madeira and the Canary Islands, which usually also include stops in Morocco. Winter cruises are also a great way to explore new places. The ports of embarkation are usually Genoa, Civitavecchia, La Spezia, Livorno, and Barcelona by air.

Northern Europe

Cruises in the north are mainly for those who love the sea, nature and typical northern weather, which is part of exploring England, Iceland or the Norwegian fjords. You will be rewarded with amazing natural scenery and the discovery of new destinations, cities and cultures. Cruises around the Baltic Sea and, above all, around Europe are very popular and have gained many fans over the years. You can also look forward to an ocean cruise, which is completely different from the calm waters of the Mediterranean. Departures are from Hamburg, Kiel, Wardemunde, and Copenhagen by air.

Cruises around Europe

Probably the best-selling cruise, which takes place in the spring and autumn months, when ships sail around Europe to the North Sea. During the 14-day cruise, you will discover unique destinations and can also visit the pilgrimage sites of Santiago de Compostela or Fatima. The cruise usually departs from Genoa, Italy, and ends in Hamburg, Kiel, Wardemunde or vice versa.

The Persian Gulf and the Red Sea

We recently expanded our range of cruises to include Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf and Red Sea regions. We were delighted that this proved to be a step in the right direction, with many seasoned sailors rating these cruises as the best of all. In this destination, you can expect modern cities, beautiful history, ancient Arab markets with their spicy aromas contrasting with luxurious department stores. Another advantage of these cruises is the direct flight from Vienna to Dubai or Egypt.

The Caribbean is every traveller's dream. This destination is not about history, but about natural beauty, diving, swimming, snorkelling, sunbathing, relaxation, Caribbean rum and Latin American dances. Transatlantic long voyages

These cruises usually take place in spring and autumn, when ships cross the oceans to return to Europe. Cruises usually last 16-22 days and offer truly restful relaxation during the ocean crossing (approx. 5-6 days), but above all, you can visit very interesting destinations that you would not normally be able to visit. Of course, you will need to factor in the return flight to Europe.

Many of our travellers have visited every possible destination on cruises and are always looking for more. For them, we offer cruises to exotic destinations, where they can experience new cultures, cuisines and ways of life. These cruises take you to South America, Asia, South Africa and the Canary Islands. For these destinations, we recommend a very good knowledge of at least English.

Cruises around the world

Utopia. Not at all. Cruises around the world are becoming increasingly popular, and in 2019, for example, we even organised a bus to take clients to the port for these cruises. In about 120 days, you can truly sail around the world and visit a huge number of diverse exotic destinations.

Transport to the port

Before choosing a cruise, you need to decide where you want to go and what your language skills are. If your language skills are limited, we definitely recommend cruises with transport and a RIVIERA TOUR representative. If you have good language skills, you can travel to the port by plane or by car. In that case, we offer a wide range of cruises, and it is really just a matter of choosing which cruise you want and when. However, you need to have at least minimal travel experience and good communication skills.

By private car

Transport to the port by car - Don't want to be restricted by anyone or anything? Want to have a really wide choice of cruises and itineraries? Set off on your cruise in your own car. Find your cruise at a great price at www.rivieratour.cz in the section "Cruise with your own transport" and organise your own holiday. If you have experience travelling, you can drive to the port in your own car. If you decide to do so, we will be happy to advise you on how to get to the port, where to park your car, and so on.

We have prepared detailed departure instructions for you, which will help you with practical information. At the port, we will arrange secure parking for you right next to the pier. Parking is arranged as part of the travel contract at a price of approximately £100 per week. Secure parking must be booked in advance, so please let us know when signing the contract that you require parking for your vehicle. Once the car park is full, it is quite difficult to find an alternative solution. Our departure instructions contain detailed information and maps for parking your vehicle at the port. If you are travelling to the port in your own car, please request a reservation for a space in the secure car park directly at the port when signing the contract. To make a reservation, you must provide the registration number, type and colour of your vehicle.

If you have secured a parking space, show your ticket upon arrival at the port and follow the instructions of the staff. Upon arrival at the port, hand over your car keys and vehicle to the parking service, which will transport your vehicle to a secure car park. Upon your return, your vehicle will be ready for you at the pier by the ship. CK RIVIERA TOUR only secures parking reservations. Parking is not part of CK RIVIERA TOUR's services.

By air (including transfer to the port)

Transport to the port by air – for cruises for which you have also purchased flight tickets from us, we can arrange transfers on request. The transfers offered by RIVIERA TOUR for individual cruises are only a suggested option for transport between the airport, hotel and port. Depending on the logistics of the destination, these may be group transfers (mainly in Europe, some cruises in Asia, the Caribbean and other cruises), private transfers, or a combination of both. This is not a mandatory surcharge for the cruise. Clients can arrange transfers individually or use taxi services.

If you purchase your own tickets, we charge a transfer booking fee of CZK 250 in addition to the transfer price. In the case of air transport, the weight and dimensions of luggage are prescribed by the airline. Therefore, please follow the airline's instructions. Please note! The weights of multiple pieces of luggage are never added together. We only use scheduled flights for air transport. Hotels in ports - we can arrange one-off accommodation before and after your cruise in all European and global ports. If you wish to extend your holiday, we can arrange accommodation for any number of nights.

Our recommendation – avoid cheap flights with low-cost airlines, or if you do, allow plenty of time for your journey. If you miss your boat, you will not be entitled to compensation.

Hotels in ports

In some destinations (especially outside Europe), we can also arrange complete sightseeing packages with accommodation along the route and car rental. You can rely on us. We have checked most of the hotels in our offer in the vicinity of ports. Our recommendation – avoid cheap flights with low-cost airlines, or if you do, allow plenty of time. If you miss your boat, you are not entitled to compensation.

Our notice:
We would like to inform all clients travelling to the port by their own means of transport that there may be delays in disembarking from the ship, either due to bad weather or technical and organisational reasons. We recommend that you allow sufficient time for your return journey. In the event of late disembarkation, clients are not entitled to compensation. If your air transport to the port is provided directly by the shipping company, including transfers, alternative transport will be provided by MSC CRUISES. We would also like to inform clients that in the event of any damage to luggage, it is necessary to report this to the shipping company's staff directly in the check-in hall and request a complaint report. Without a complaint report, the claim for compensation will not be accepted. In the event of damage to a car, it is also necessary to request proper confirmation of the damage and take photographs of the damage in order to resolve the subsequent compensation.

The cruise company has market prices, so sometimes not all cruises are completely sold out, or due to cancellations, cruises are sold at very attractive prices. We prepare and send you precisely these kinds of cruise offers.
