Private suppliers/services are not permitted.

PLEASE NOTE: if this is a surprise, the name of the event organiser must be clearly stated in the Ceremony form.

Types of wedding packages

Experience the perfect wedding at sea. MSC's dedicated team offers personalised planning, elegant ceremonies officiated by a ship's officer and a romantic atmosphere. Look forward to a wedding bouquet, personal vows and a symbolic certificate. All packages include a wedding cake, champagne toast, photography, romantic cabin decorations, a spa day for the couple and beauty services. Below you will find all the services included in our wedding packages, which will ensure that your special day runs perfectly:

1. ROMANTIC PACKAGE (WEDROM1)

Package price: from CZK 55,000

The Romantic Package includes:

• Welcome and advice from the event coordinator on board the ship

• Ceremonial ceremony attended by officers

• Ceremony venue with beautiful floral decorations and a choice of music – which must be recorded in advance

• Preserved wedding bouquet with matching boutonniere

• Ironing of the couple's wedding attire

• Special vows

• Symbolic ceremony certificate and brochure signed by the captain

• Wedding cake (choice of flavours)

• Champagne toast (Moët & Chandon)

• 2-hour photography service throughout the ceremony, photos taken at various locations on the ship + 10 printed photos (20x25 cm)

• Special cabin decoration on the day of the ceremony

• Breakfast for 2 people in the cabin on the morning after the ceremony (including the option of breakfast from room service)

• Hair styling for the bride + facial (the same service is offered for same-sex couples)

• Barber/hairdresser for the groom (the same service is offered for same-sex couples)

• One-day pass to the thermal area for couples

• Pampering manicure and pedicure for the couple

Cake flavours and fillings: vanilla, forest fruits, chocolate, dulce de leche, red velvet

Colourful cake decorations: blue, red, yellow, white*

* The base of the cake is always white; the couple can only choose the colour of the decorations.

2. ICONIC PACKAGE (WEDICON1)

Package price: from CZK 98,000

The Iconic package includes:

• Welcome and advice from the event coordinator on board the ship

• Ceremonial ceremony attended by ship officers

• Exclusive lounge decorated with floral arrangements and a romantic journey withthe option to choose your own music – must be recorded in advance

• Preserved wedding bouquet with matching boutonniere

• Clothes ironing service for the wedding couple

• Provision of special vows

• Symbolic certificate and brochure signed by the ship's captain

• Cake tower: cake + selection of individual desserts

• Champagne toast (Veuve Clicquot) with a selection of dishes

• 2-hour photography service throughout the ceremony, photos taken at various locations on the ship + 20 printed photos (20x25 cm)

• On the day of the ceremony, cabin decoration and amenities (strawberries in chocolate, macaroons, ...)

• 1x luxury breakfast for 2 people in the cabin the morning after the ceremony

• Romantic dinner for two in a specialised restaurant of your choice, including a bottle of Nicolas Feuillatte champagne (the date of the reservation will be specified during your stay on board)

• Daily pass to the thermal spa for couples (valid for one day only), including a 50-minute Aroma salt scrub + 50-minute Balinese massage. All for 2 people.

• Hair and facial styling for the bride (the same service will be offered to same-sex couples).

• Barber/hairdresser for the groom (the same service will be offered to same-sex couples).

• Pampering manicure and pedicure for the couple

Premium dessert tower: 1x cake on the top tier + premium desserts – choice of 3 flavours (up to 8 people) or up to 5 flavours (more than 9 people)

• selection of premium desserts: lemon and elderflower cake, Delizia al Limone, chocolate and raspberry mousse, elderflower and hazelnut buttercream, two macarons, Victoria cake with forest fruits

Cupcake tower: 1x cake on the top tier + premium cupcakes – choice of 3 flavours (up to 8 people) or up to 5 flavours (more than 9 people)

3. CEREMONY AT OCEAN CAY (WEDOCN01)

Package price: from CZK 72,000

The maximum capacity is 60 persons.

The Ocean Cay Ceremony Package includes:

• Transport for the bride and groom to and from the ceremony + for 4 additional guests

• Welcome and advice from event coordinators on board the ship and atOcean Cay

• Ceremony attended by ship's officers

• Ceremony venue decorated in white or blue, including choice of music (must be uploaded to the ship in advance)

• Preserved wedding bouquet with matching boutonniere

• Clothes ironing service for the bride and groom

• Provision of special vows

• 1x symbolic ceremonial certificate and brochure signed by the ship's captain

• Wedding cake

• Champagne toast (Moet & Chandon)

• 2 hours of photography during the ceremony, photo shoot in the pavilion and photo shoot on the beach at sunset + 10 printed photos (20x25 cm)

• Cabin decoration on the day of the ceremony

• 1x breakfast for 2 people in the cabin the morning after the ceremony (including the option of breakfast as part of room service)

• All-day ticket to the thermal spa for couples (valid for one day only)

• Hair styling for the bride + facial (the same service will be offered to same-sex couples)

• Barber/hairdresser for the groom (the same service will be offered to same-sex couples)

• Pampering manicure and pedicure for the couple

Add-ons to packages

The ROMANTIC, ICONIC and OCEAN CAY wedding packages include a cake and champagne for up to 8 guests, i.e. the couple and 6 guests. From the 9th guest onwards, a surcharge applies for each additional guest. To do this, use the codes associated with your booking number and relating to your current package when placing your order:

• ROMANTIC Package – WEDDSUP10, additional charge of £10 per person.

• ICONIC Package – WEDDSUP30, additional charge of £30 per person.

• OCEAN CAY Package – WEDSUP20, additional charge of £20 per person.

The course of the wedding ceremony

1. Planning the ceremony with the ship coordinator

After boarding, the couple will be welcomed by the ship coordinator, who will work with them to finalise the main details regarding the organisation of the ceremony. It is also possible to suggest improvements to the services, which are then paid for on board the ship:

• Catering options are available and can be arranged in advance.p>

• Live music is available, with a string duo/quartet or, for example, a DJ

• Photo opportunities can also be arranged

We recommend purchasing these services before your cruise, when you can take advantage of discounts of up to 20%. Discounts are not available on board. MSC provides all the necessary professional services, such as photographers, entertainment and the like.Private services are not permitted and, if approved, may be subject to a charge of up to €650 (e.g. private photographer).

2. Day of the ceremony (for ROMANTIC and ICONIC packages)

The entire event lasts approximately 1 hour and includes:

• Pick up the bride from her cabin and take her to the decorated venue

• Ceremony with all guests

• Cutting the cake and champagne toast in theceremonial lounge (please note that cake serving may be delayed)

The course of the ceremony:

The order follows the general pattern:

• The groom takes his place at the front, followed by the best man, then the bridesmaid, the ring bearer and the bride with her attendants. This is followed by the welcome, readings, prayers, exchange of vows, ring ceremony, declaration of marriage, celebratory music and any other music for the ceremony.

• The bride stands on the left, the groom on the right.

• The best man brings the rings and signs as a witness. He then organises the toasts during the reception. The bridesmaids walk in a procession and encourage single girls to participate in the bouquet toss.

3. Day of the ceremony (for the OCEAN CAY package)

Only two ceremonies may be held during the day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

What to do if the stop at Ocean Cay is cancelled?

Although we will make every effort to maintain the planned itinerary, for the safety of our passengers, please note that MSC Cruises may decide to cancel the planned stop at Ocean Cay due to unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.

If this happens, the ship's management will inform the guests as soon as possible and offer them the opportunity to celebrate their wedding on board the ship in a reserved and appropriately decorated area. If guests wish to receive a full refund for the package in the event that they decide to cancel the wedding, they must contact the travel agency (if they booked the wedding through a travel agency) or the MSC Cruises contact centre (if they booked the wedding directly through MSC) with their refund request.

Specifics of packages

• The ceremonies are only symbolic: they have no legal or religious validity, and the same applies to the commemorative certificate.p>

• The package is standard for all itineraries, is available to any couple/age and can also be purchased on board the ship, subject to availability

• The date, time and lounge are reconfirmed on board the ship; interested parties only indicate their preferences in advance. If the wedding couple is tied to a specific date, confirmation will be provided in advance by the MSC Events team. The wedding bouquet and matching boutonniere are made from preserved white roses. The wedding cake, which is visible during the ceremony, can be served in the restaurant.p>

• If there are additional guests, their identity cards must be submitted in a proper guest list to the MSC Events office no later than 4 working days before the event

• The number of wedding guests in the port is limited depending on the ship, port and schedule

• The ceremony can be postponed or the package changed no later than 7 days before the date of departure

• Ceremonies on the day of embarkation at the home port are strongly discouraged for operational reasons. If exceptionally agreed, the wedding couple and guests will carry the ceremonial items by hand, as the crew may be delayed.

• Ceremonies may be conducted in any language that is listed for the given period or may be conducted by your own celebrant.

• Guests may decide whether to read their own vows – a typed copy must be submitted on board.p>

• Guests can also provide their own music via USB or a phone with a portable speaker. It is also possible to hire ship musicians (at an additional cost).

• If the ceremony is a surprise, guests will be invited to the "Captain's Cocktail" as a cover for the appropriate dress code

• The ceremony can be performed by any couple, even as an additional ceremony after a legal wedding on land

Cancellation of wedding packages

Cancellation of the wedding package must be notified to the travel agency as soon as possible. If everything is done by written notification, the cancellation does not incur any penalty. Cancellation of the OCEAN CAY package does not incur any penalty if everything is done by written notification.

Everything must be notified at least 90 days before the date of departure.
