MSC Poesia upgrades for Alaska: brand new MSC Yacht Club and more

Cruise company MSC Cruises today announced a significant refurbishment of the MSC Poesia, which will take place before she sets sail on her voyage to Alaska during the summer of 2026 (you can join us). The biggest change is the construction of brand new facilities for the award-winning MSC Yacht Club concept, which offers clients all-inclusive services throughout their cruise. The upgrade will also see the addition of dedicated Butcher's Cut and Kaito Sushi Bar restaurants, an All-Stars Sports Bar, an upgraded MSC Aurea Spa and changes to the ship's gym.

Aboard MSC Poesia, guests on their maiden Alaska cruise can enjoy the signature MSC Cruises experience that combines European style with American comfort. Cruise itineraries will take in the scenic landscapes of Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm and Junea, along with Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. All this new from the exclusive comfort of the MSC Yacht Club, which as always will offer guests stunning views from the bow of the ship.

Guests who book the newly added MSC Yacht Club at MSC Poesia, can enjoy an exclusive all-inclusive experience with 24-hour butler service and private reception, spacious and elegantly furnished suites and access to exclusive private spaces, including a dedicated restaurant, lounge, private sundeck with hot tubs and grill and bar.

NEW: Private Forward Lounge - MSC Poesia will also now offer a private bar and lounge, the Top Sail Lounge, a bright, elegant space located on the forward deck, with French windows and a relaxed atmosphere for cocktails and live music.

NEW: 63 elegant suites in five styles - new elegant suites, including ocean-view balcony suites and interconnecting suites ideal for families. The Ultra Luxury Royal Suite accommodates up to six guests and features a private Jacuzzi, expansive 78sqm terrace and private outdoor shower with endless panoramic ocean views, while the Grand Suite offers a more intimate setting combined with a spacious balcony for quiet moments outdoors. All suites are thoughtfully designed and include bathrooms with marble finishes, premium embroidered bespoke towels, a Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary minibar, plus 24-hour room service.

NEW: MSC Yacht Club Exclusive Restaurant - The new exclusive members-only restaurant of the MSC Yacht Club will offer an unforgettable dining experience with refined menus. It will be available 24 hours a day.
