Cruise company MSC Cruises has revealed new details of the attractions on its upcoming flagship MSC World Asia, which sets sail in December 2026 in the Mediterranean. Like its World Class predecessor, this ship will offer a wealth of options that can be enjoyed by different groups of participants - families with children, seniors, and solo travellers - day and night. All this in a design inspired by the landscape, art and culture of the Asian continent.
The Clubhouse is a lively, retro-inspired space where families come together to enjoy lots of fun and creative play. It's designed in a playful, timeless style and combines classic board games, a LEGO® Family Zone, a driving range, basketball and roller skating. It's a dynamic place that's constantly changing throughout the day - offering engaging group time for kids and adults alike and enjoyable evening entertainment in a lively, social environment.
Building on the popular World Class spaces, this multifunctional entertainment centre spans two decks and is designed for interactive game shows, parties and themed events. Expect LED displays, immersive environments and energetic performances that draw the audience right into the heart of the action. The main arena space is surrounded by immersive digital displays, ceiling projections and dynamic lighting and sound. It hosts youth activities during the day and serves as the ship's main nightlife venue, with curated DJ sets and parties every night until late. Guests can also enjoy the newly designed bar at Luna Park, details of which will be announced soon.
We are delighted that The Harbour, the entertainment hub for children and adults on the upper decks of the ship, is also returning to MSC World Asia, with a sleek Asian-inspired redesign. This sprawling outdoor park offers a cliffhanger attraction - an exhilarating overwater swing that takes guests over 50 metres above the ocean. MSC World Asia will be the first and only ship in Europe to offer this exciting and novel attraction.
Families can also enjoy the exciting rope park, water slides and a special playground. To replenish energy, the Buffet Harbour Bar & Bites offers a complimentary selection of food, perfect for enjoying tasty treats between adventures.
The Harbour will also be home to the longest dry slide at sea, starting at the impressive Asian Pagoda. The Tree of Life @The Spiral will transport guests in seconds 81.3 metres down 12 decks to the main promenade below.
Elegant by day, electrifying by night - Panorama Lounge offers panoramic sea views, live music and a spacious dance floor. During the day, enriching activities take place here, from dance classes to acoustic performances. In the evening, it transforms into a lively lounge for cocktail parties and cabaret entertainment, creating the perfect blend of relaxation and sophisticated entertainment in an elegant, relaxed atmosphere.
The World Theatre, the centrepiece of MSC Cruises' entertainment offering, offers spectacular theatrical performances nightly, including musicals, acrobatic shows, concerts and international award-winning performances. With several shows, guests have the flexibility to choose the show that suits them each night.
A stunning open-air promenade MSC World Asia, the World Promenade is the place where the ship truly comes to life. A vibrant open space at the heart of the ship where unique dining, relaxation and entertainment options combine with breathtaking ocean views. From dazzling light shows and live musical performances to colorful events like the LEGO® Parade and street dance performances, it's a constant celebration. Stop by The Sports Bar to recharge for a sports game, or indulge in a sweet treat at Sweet Temptations, a candy shop that satisfies a variety of cravings.
The MSC World Asia will sail seven-day itineraries to Barcelona (Spain), Marseille (France), Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina (Italy) and Valletta (Malta) in winter 2026/27, with accessible embarkation at each port. Later during winter 2026/27 and summer 2027, it will offer seven-day cruises to Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples (Italy), Messina and Valletta.
