This year, Riviera Tour s.r.o. has won the triple award for the best MSC Cruises retailer for 2025. At a ceremony in Palma de Mallorca, it was awarded the Best Seller of MSC Cruises in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Best Seller of Group Cruises for Central and Eastern Europe, North Africa, Eurasia and the Middle East and Best Seller of Prepaid Packages.

The ceremony took place on Friday 24 October. 2025 in the grand theatre of the MSC Seaview at the Palma de Mallorca as part of the prestigious MSC Cruises Sailing Sales Meeting. New Emerging Markets (NEM).

Three awards for the first time this year

Riviera Tour has been nominated in the including markets in the Czech Republic and Slovakia sub-region of the Cruise Vendor Awards this year. In these two countries, it was named Best Cruise Salesperson for MSC Cruises for the Czech Republic and Slovakia this year. This award was doubly valuable to us because it is usually given to tour operators focused on mass-selling tours, while Riviera Tour is focused on group tours that require longer preparation and therefore our sales are limited. Recently, however, individual travelers have also found their way to us, and we have summer made a breakthrough in this type of tour as well.

This year, Riviera Tour won two more awards in the OVER THE TOP category, which is awarded to the best tour operators in the entire EMM market. In the Best Group Tour Seller of the Year 2025 category, we defended last year's placing. This marks our fifth award in this categorythird consecutive time (2016, 2018, 2023-2025).

The icing on the cake was the Best Prepaid Package Vendor award, which was announced for the first time in the OVER THE TOP category this year. Prepaid packages that include beverage and internet packages are new to our market, so this award is a confirmation of the rightness of what we have done so far.

"From a Wallachian village to the big world"

Commenting on the awards, Pavel Číž, CEO of Riviera Group, which includes the Riviera Tour travel agency, said:

"When we started our business 30 years ago, we never imagined that from the small Wallachian village of Lidečko you can do business on an international level. We had clear visions, goals, mostly absolutely incompatible with the surrounding competition. We had our own model of the way of doing business, which is based on hard work, but we give something more to it. Our clients only get to know that something more when they use our services and they are very happy to come back to us.

Over the years we have learned and learned from our own mistakes, we have noticed the mistakes of others and most importantly we have listened and still listen to our clients. Slowly but surely, we pushed our boundaries. The agency became a travel agency, the country pub became a restaurant, international bus service was added, a team of willing and warm-hearted people was found and gradually we fought our way through and reaped the successes of our work, which pushed us further and further, beyond the borders of the district, the country and now the whole of Europe. Behind this award are thousands of hard worked hours, thousands of ideas, only some of which have come to fruition, but above all the great work of the entire team at RIVIERA GROUP."

Emotions during the award ceremony described Pavel Číž as follows:

You stop breathing, your knees buckle and you don't even realize what it all means at that moment.
