Will sakura blossom on our Japan cruise with MSC Bellissima this year?

It is not easy to plan a trip to see the sakura in bloom. Their blossoms open gradually from south to north, and the whole spectacle takes only a few days. Thanks to official forecasts from the JMC (Japan Meteorological Corporation), we can confirm with near certainty that our cruise this year on MSC Bellissima will exactly follow the course of the sakura bloom in 2025.

Our journey begins in Tokyo (March 31-April 2), where the JMC predicts we will witness the peak of the sakura blossom. Next up is Osaka (April 3-4), where we'll be greeted by trees in full bloom while getting a peek into the final preparations for EXPO 2025. On the island of Cheju (6.4.), in addition to the first sakura buds, a unique spectacle awaits us - blooming groves of citrus and orange trees in full glory.

Our journey to MSC Bellissima will continue to the historic Kanazawa (8.4.), famous for its beautiful Kenroku-en gardens, where sakura trees create the perfect backdrop to traditional Japanese scenery. Next, we'll proceed north to Akita (9 Apr.), and Hakodate (10.4.), watching the sac wave move with us. We'll end our journey again in Tokyo (12.4.), where the sakura will bid us farewell with the last of their falling flowers.

Throughout the whole time you will be accompanied by a Czech delegate and in selected ports you can look forward to professional interpretation by a local Czech-speaking guide (excursions included in the price of the tour).
