MSC World America completes sea trials

MSC Cruises' newest flagship MSC World America has successfully completed sea trials. With the completion of intensive deepwater system tests in the Atlantic Ocean, there is nothing preventing her official launch in April 2025 in Miami, from where we bring you a report.

The final tests examined the boat's engine performance, manoeuvrability, fuel consumption, safety systems, speed and braking distance. MSC World America will now undergo final modifications at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France, and will be officially handed over to the cruise company on March 27.
