Our journey began in the German port of Hamburg, where we boarded the MSC Preziosa. After a day at sea we arrived at our first destination, Invergordon in Scotland. The weather was beautiful so we set off for a trip to Loch Ness. Although we didn't see the mysterious Loch Ness Monster, we really enjoyed the trip. Other destinations that awaited us during the cruise were on the island of Iceland. The island, which is called the "Land of Ice and Fire" is a place with amazing nature. To make the most of our time on the island, we took a day trip around the so-called Golden Circle, which includes Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss Waterfall and Strokkur Geyser. We extended our trip to include more waterfalls and the black beach of Reynisfjara, which is entirely covered in black volcanic sand. Since our ship was docked in the capital city of Reykjavik, we had the opportunity to visit that Nordic city as well. Isafjordur, the next stop on our journey, is a small fishing town from where you can go whale watching, for example. We went to a beautiful lookout point where you have a view of the whole fjord. The last Icelandic town we visited was Akureyri. The city is interesting because it has a small botanical garden. We used the town as a starting point to visit the Godafoss waterfall, which can be translated as " Waterfall of the Gods". Iceland enchanted us all with its beautiful nature, magnificent waterfalls, beautiful mountains. Before we went back to Germany, we had a stop in Kirkwall, which is the capital of Orkney. In the city you can observe the beautiful architecture. That was the last stop and then we had the journey home.
We hope you enjoyed your cruise and that you take away some great memories.
We look forward to seeing you again.

This May cruise was a bit longer, so we had plenty of time to visit many beautiful destinations and create many memories. We had many familiar faces among our clients, but also some newcomers. We started as always in Italy - in Genoa, where our new home for a few days, MSC Musica, awaited us. After a short walk around the city we boarded, had a good meal and took a tour of the ship.
Next up was Marseille, where more boats were docking, but we were very lucky - we didn't have to wait for a bus or tourist train, so we had plenty of time left to explore the city. The next destination was Malaga, Spain, which probably thrilled all the clients the most - this city is a favourite among both clients and delegates because there is really something for everyone - sights, shopping, beaches - just everything a tourist could wish for. We arrived at the perfect time as the city was full of the purple flowers of the Jacaranda tree. The next day we visited the smaller Spanish city of Cadiz, which offered beaches, parks, views and one of the oldest Roman theatres in the world. A day later we visited beloved Lisbon, where a wild tuk-tuk ride awaited us to Belém, to the Jeronymite Monastery, the Tower of Belém and the Monument to the Discoverers. We then moved back to the city centre for a beautiful view and of course had to sample the delicious iconic Pasteis de nata cakes at our leisure. A day at sea followed as we watched the Strait of Gibraltar pass by around midday.
After a day's rest with great weather we returned to Spain to Alicante, where we were not so lucky with the weather, but we still enjoyed the day in this city. Due to the weather, our stop in Mahon, Menorca was also in jeopardy as we had to be transported to this port by tenders - lifeboats. The forecast was threatening us with two metre waves, so we weren't sure if we would even dock. Fortunately, the weather cleared up and we were able to enjoy this beautiful city completely, including a gin tasting at the local Xoriguer distillery. In the evening, the waves and swells finally caught up with us, and not just for the gin. Our last farewell destination was the Italian city of Olbia, Sardinia, where we enjoyed a more relaxing day of shopping, sitting down with a drink and some authentic Italian gelato.
We hope you enjoyed this cruise and that you will remember it for a long time.

Our unforgettable Mediterranean cruise was a true adventure, taking us through historic cities, picturesque streets and breathtaking sights. Each day brought new experiences that we enjoyed together.
We started in Genoa, Italy, where we headed into town right after boarding. We admired the largest maritime museum in the Mediterranean - Galata Museo del Mare - including a real submarine. We also visited the Spanish galleon Neptune, St. Lawrence Cathedral, and of course stopped by the home of Christopher Columbus, a famous Genoese native.
French Marseille enchanted us with its atmosphere. After visiting the majestic La Major Cathedral, we walked to the Old Port and ended our trip at the viewpoint of the Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica. We ended the day in style - watching the Czech Republic vs. Sweden hockey match on board.
In Tarragona, Spain, we went back in time to the Roman Empire. The view from the Mediterranean Balcony, the amphitheatre, the Roman circus and the cathedral formed a mosaic of the city's rich history. We ended our tour together at the walls, where we dispersed to explore the city at our own pace.
Valencia welcomed us with sunshine and a flood of greenery in the park along the former bed of the river Turia. The Torres dels Serrans gate took us into the historic centre where we admired the cathedral, the basilica and the iconic El Micalet tower. There was also a visit to the market, the bullring and the famous aquarium.
The next stop was Livorno, Italy - a city with the atmosphere of "Little Venice". Canals, bridges and old houses created a unique colour. We saw the Fortezza Nuova fortress, the huge Piazza della Repubblica and the famous Mercato Centrale market. We ended the day at the Cathedral of St. Francis Xavier.
Our last stop was Civitavecchia, Italy, where we retraced our steps through history - from the old Roman port, through historic squares and churches to the imposing Forte Michelangelo. Here, too, we enjoyed the city at our own pace after our tour together.
This cruise was not only about beautiful places, but also about shared experiences, good mood and moments together. Thank you to everyone who was part of it. We are looking forward to the next adventure - your delegates from Riviera Tour - Verča and Míša.
We began our cruise through the western Mediterranean with a stop in Pisa at the Square of Wonders, where we visited the world-famous Leaning Tower. We then moved on to the port of Livorno and boarded the MSC SEASIDE, which became our home for the next 7 days. The French city of Marseille intoxicated us with the scent of a plethora of soaps and lavender. We experienced a strike by local taxi drivers who blocked the entire old port with their cars. Eventually, however, we managed to take the train to the top of La Garde, to the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde, which is the landmark of Marseille. In Barcelona, we admired the amazing architectural works of Antoni Gaudi, who with his enormous amount of imagination and specific handwriting gave Barcelona an unmistakable character. The next day we rested, relaxed and had time to get to know our ship better. The following day we had a stop on the African continent, in the town of La Goulette, which is 12km from the capital of Tunisia - Tunis. Here we soaked up the oriental atmosphere in the markets, walked through the ancient medina and visited the blue and white village of Sidi Bou Said, made famous by the movie Angelica and the Sultan. After Africa, we were welcomed by sun-drenched Palermo, where we tasted delicious ice cream, typical canoli and arancini while walking through the historic city. Our last stop was lively Naples - home of Margharita's pizza and also famous for the Vesuvius volcano that towers over its suburbs. We took away a wealth of extraordinary experiences from each place and I trust you enjoyed your cruise and will remember it fondly. I look forward to seeing you again on board MSC ships and with Riviera tour.

We started May with a cruise in the Norwegian fjords. Our first stop was in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, where we couldn't miss a visit to the statue of the Little Mermaid and the royal palace Amalienborg, where we managed to catch the daily changing of the guards. During the cruise we also had the opportunity to enjoy 2 days at sea, relaxing in the pools, hot tubs, some visited the gym and a visit to the specialised Mexican restaurant HOLA HOLA was also a great experience. We visited the village of Hellesylt where we went on a hike with spectacular views of the Geirangerfjord and the surrounding beautiful countryside. In the town of Ålesund we took a train ride to one of the most popular viewpoints in Norway - AKSLU, from where we had a breathtaking view of the harbour and the surrounding islands. Our last stop was the Norwegian town of Flaam, which boasts the world's steepest railway, running 20-odd kilometres between Flaam and the terminus at Myrdal. The train journey, with a stop at the beautiful Kjosfossen waterfall, is a truly spectacular experience that we couldn't miss.
Thank you to my wonderful group of travellers, I trust that we all had a great time and that you all took away a lot of unforgettable experiences from the cruise and I look forward to seeing you again next time on board MSC ships ;-)
