This time we went to the other side of the world with a group of travelers - we decided to spend a cold February in the wonderful and sunny Caribbean. Upon arrival in Miami, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to explore this amazing city. We took a day trip where we explored the beauty of Miami, visited the popular Cuban Quarter where we tasted delicious coffee and unusual steaming Mojitos and relaxed on Miami Beach. The next day we boarded the MSC Seascape and headed upward for another adventure. We visited Jamaica, where we enjoyed the extraordinary experience of climbing waterfalls with a local guide, bought souvenirs and of course authentic Jamaican rum :-) and managed to relax on the beach with its beautiful turquoise sea and white sand. At our next stop in the Cayman Islands, we were greeted by rain in the morning, but once the weather cleared up, we went for a walk around the town and eventually managed to visit the beautiful 7 mile beach. On the island of Cozumel, we were again greeted by beautiful sunny weather and we went on the popular tequila tour, where we learned interesting information about tequila production and were able to taste it at the same time. The rest of the day was spent on the beautiful Chen Rio beach. Our last stop was the private island of the MSC cruise company, and that was Ocean Cay. There we soaked up the last rays of sun before returning back to the Czech Republic.
I hope you enjoyed your holiday and took away lots of great memories and I look forward to seeing you again :-)

Vo februári sme skúsili českú zimu vymeniť za teplé Stredomorie. Lenže i tam, v prvej destinácii, v ligúrskom Janove, sa slnko ukrylo.
Nasali sme atmosféru a vône lokálneho trhu.
Ožiarilo aj krásne modro-biele mestečko Sidi Bou Said.

In February we decided to leave the Czech winter for a bit "warmer lands." On the way to the harbor, the group and I stopped in Pisa, where some of us went to the top of the Leaning Tower. We took a small scenic train ride back to our bus and were able to continue on to Livorno where we boarded the MSC Lirica. We were a little worried about the weather at the start as we were surprised by rain at the port, but with positive spirits we believed that things would improve. And yes! It did. Beautiful weather accompanied us not only in Marseille, where we went to the Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica, but in Mallorca we could also sunbathe! Of course, many of us enjoyed Valencia in our own way with a drink at Aqua de Valencia or Paella. After a day of relaxing at sea, Sardinia and the city of Cagliari awaited us, full of beautiful streets and sea views. The last stop was the town of Civitavecchia, where the sun did not disappoint and accompanied us on our walk the whole way. Livorno already marked the end of our trip, but we made a quick visit to Bologna. There we were already feeling the reality of the cold weather.
We really enjoyed the cruise with a great group of people and I would love to see you again on future cruises.

Our unforgettable cruise began on the Portuguese island of Madeira, where after landing in Funchal we had the opportunity to relax in our hotel and prepare for our adventure. The following day, we embarked on a full day excursion with a local guide that took us to the third highest peak on the island - Pico do Areeiro (1818m). Along the way, we admired the Laurissilva laurel forest, visited the village of Santana with its typical houses, stopped in the village of Faial, and ended the trip with the spectacular views from Ponta de S. Lourenco and a visit to the town of Machico.
The next stop on our trip was the island of La Palma, where we explored the beauty of the island with a local guide. We started at the Mirador de La Concepción viewpoint, visited the La Caldera National Park, walked around the La Cumbrecita viewpoint and saw the new Tajogaite volcano, which was formed during the eruption in 2021. We ended the trip with a visit to a cigar factory and a tasting of local specialties.
In Lanzarote, we took a day trip through Teguise to the Jameos de Aqua cave complex, which enchanted us with its unique atmosphere. We continued on to Timanfaya National Park where we experienced the warmth of the volcanic soil and saw how food is prepared on hot stones. We also stopped at El Golfo with its iconic green lake and ended the trip with a visit to a vineyard and tasting of excellent wine.
On Tenerife we docked in the port of the capital city Santa Cruz. We toured the historic centre, visited the cathedral, the market and the Garcia Sanabria park. Some of us continued on to the beach, while others headed to the world famous Loro Park Zoo where we spent the day among dolphins, killer whales, parrots and other animals.
In Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, we visited the Mercado Puerto, the Castillo de la Luz and the colourful Escaleras de Colores. The sunny weather took us to the beach of Las Canteras, some of us also went to the cliffs overlooking the city and the sea, or to the beautiful aquarium Poema del Mar. We all enjoyed the day in our own way.
On the island of Fuerteventura we were welcomed by a great guide Gabriela. We visited an aloe vera plantation where we learned all about the processing of this plant, admired a Christmas tree listed in the Guinness Book of Records, drove through the villages of Pájara and Betancuria, tasted goat cheese, rum and local coffee "leche leche". We ended the day with a walk on the sand dunes of Corralejo overlooking the neighbouring islands.
After a day of relaxing at sea, we dressed festively for an evening meeting with the captain of the MSC Opera. In the morning we disembarked again in Funchal, but the adventure didn't end there. We headed to the top of Monte where we experienced a traditional sleigh ride, visited the Cabo Girao cliff with its glass platform, and ended the trip in the village of Camara de Lobos with a traditional poncha tasting. We enjoyed our last moments walking around the town, the market and the Cristiano Ronaldo statue. Then it was on to the airport and back home - but no one wanted to go into the cold.
We hope that you have taken away many wonderful experiences and memories from this trip!

We have completed our maiden voyage of 2025. After a year, we are back in Dubai, this time on the beautiful MSC Euribia. After our flight from Prague, we went straight to our ship in Dubai, where we took a tour and relaxed along the way. The very next day our first destination awaited us, the city of Doha in Qatar. We toured the local Waqif market, visited the falcon hospital and took a dhow ride to the skyscrapers in the West Bay district. The next day we had an excursion in Bahrain, during which we visited the mosque in Manama, learned about Islam, visited the local markets and also the Bahrain Fortress. After that we had a rest, a day at sea and a gala evening with the captain. Next on the agenda was the beautiful city of Abu Dhabi. During the day trip we enjoyed dessert and gold-plated cappuccino at the Emiratel Palace Hotel, then admired the beautiful Sheikh Zayed Mosque and the Qasr Al Watan Presidential Palace. After a long excursion, a day at Sir Bani Yas came in handy to enjoy the sea and beaches and our last destination was Dubai. Here we had a really full agenda - we went to the viewpoint of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, visited the largest shopping mall, Dubai Mall, also went to the viewpoint of one of Dubai's palm islands, Palm Jumeirah and we couldn't miss the largest gardens in the world, Miracle Gardens;
We hope you enjoyed the 2025 season launch as much as we did and we look forward to seeing you again on MSC Cruises ships.
