Looking back at 2025 - and best wishes for the year ahead
Dear friends of cruises, dear colleagues,
The end of the year is here and before I wish you all the best for 2026, I am adding a little look back at this year and plans for the future.
Year 2025: the most successful year in the history of the Riviera Tour
The year 2025 was the most successful year for us in the history of the RIVIERA TOUR. In those nearly 30 years we have evolved, improved and learned from our own and others' mistakes. What makes the RIVIERA TOUR different is the fact that we go our own way. We don't copy anyone, we don't look for ideas from others, but we creatively develop new products and services for our clients.
We are really very happy and thank you, our clients, for your trust and loyalty. Only thanks to you we have crossed the imaginary threshold of turnover over 100 million CZK. Only thanks to you we have an incredible 82% return rate of clients who repeatedly come on our tours and cruises.
Únor 2025
In February 2025 you could win a luxury cruise on EXPLORA JOURNEYS with us, donated by RIVIERA TOUR as one of the main sponsors of the prestigious Czech Ball at the Municipal House in Prague to the ball's raffle with the aim of maximizing the charitable proceeds for disabled children.
In the same month, we received the prestigious Joyful Certificate from the Health Clown, o.p.s. for supporting children and projects aimed at making patients' stay in hospital facilities more pleasant.
At the end of the month, RIVIERA TOUR had the honour of being the first Czech group to tour the newly opened MSC Cruises terminal in Barcelona.
March 2025
March 2025 was marked by the tone of trade fairs and our very successful presentation at the Holiday World Prague 2025 tourism fair. The main prize of the fair - a cruise on a cruise ship for the whole family - was again donated by RIVIERA TOUR.
Duben 2025
In April 2025, we were one of the few travel agencies in Europe to participate in the inaugural the christening of the MSC WORLD AMERICA in Miami and at the same time experience the new ultramodern MSC Cruises terminal in Miami, the largest ship terminal in the world.
This month we could experience for the second time the new world travel phenomenon - Japan. The success of the cruise confirmed us that the development of cruises in this destination really makes sense.
During the Easter holidays we went together to our first spring teambuilding - this time to Laser Game arena in Zlín.
May 2025
May was the month we broke records. We delivered more than 550 clients on MSC Cruises ships this month. Our drivers travelled more than 56,000 km on Riviera Tour buses, prepared more than 1,500 bus snacks, over 3,600 coffees, ate more than 4,200 sausages, signed more than 260 travel contracts and printed more than 65,000 check-in instruction sheets - all in one month!
In May 2025, RIVIERA TOUR also participated in the MSC Cruises NEM Retreat II sales meeting, where we brought back a lot of ideas and inspiration for our future work.
July and August 2025
During the summer months we prepared new cruises in exotic destinations, especially new tours to Alaska and also to Brazil and Argentina. The great results of cruise sales to Alaska in the Czech Republic surprised even the management of MSC Cruises.
The August's SEA FULL OF DRINKS promotion was very successful - it earned RIVIERA TOUR a crown as one of MSC Cruises' top drink package sellers.
October 2025
During October 2025 the RIVIERA TOUR won two prestigious awards. The first one was the prestigious Certificate of Management Excellence, making it officially part of the BUSINESS ELITE ranking - an elite group of the most trusted and successful companies in the Czech Republic.
Then at the end of the month came the highlight of the whole year. At the prestigious MSC Cruises Emerging Markets Meeting (EMM), RIVIERA TOUR flew triple honors as MSC Cruises' top cruise seller for 2025. At a ceremony in Palma de Mallorca, the company was awarded Best Seller of MSC Cruises in the Czech Republic and Slovakia,Best Seller of Group Cruises for Central and Eastern Europe, North Africa, Eurasia and the Middle East and Best Seller of Prepaid Packages. We are really incredibly proud of this huge achievement and dare to say that we are reaping the fruits of our labour.
And what can you look forward to in 2026?
We want to push our services for the better again. MSC Cruises is expanding tremendously in the cruise world. RIVIERA TOUR wants to be there and keep up - even though we know it won't be easy. So what can you look forward to with us in 2026?

Tourism Fair HOLIDAY WORLD PRAHA 2026 (March 2026)
We will christen the largest and most detailed RIVIERA TOUR cruise catalog to date at the fair, which will contain approximately 180 pages of very interesting information from the world of MSC Cruises
We will offer you the first cruise with transport and delegate in MSC YACHT CLUB together with escorted by the owners of CK RIVIERA TOUR.
... and also the first ever first cruise with transport and delegate on the luxury EXPLORA JOURNEYS cruise together with the escort of the owners of CK RIVIERA TOUR.
In the second half of the year, we will introduce new website presentation of luxury cruises
Then, at the end of the year, we will welcome the new RIVIERA TOUR bus, which will expand our fleet and improve our services for your comfortable transportation to the port.
In addition to these innovations for next year, we are also preparing for the following year. As you already know, a few months ago we launched the Japan 2027 cruise sale. On two exclusive cruises, you can visit a number of new destinations that you have not been able to see before on a Riviera Tour cruise. In addition, this year we will offer the first-ever cruise with a Czech-speaking local guide who will accompany us throughout the cruise, offering our clients an even more intense experience of Japanese history, culture and architecture.
What to say in conclusion?
Yes, we have big plans. But in order to accomplish them and achieve our goals we need your maximum support - and for that, good health, happiness and God's protection.
