Our unforgettable cruise through the Eastern Caribbean has come to an end, and it is time to look back on all the days we spent together.
The adventure began in Miami, a vibrant city full of contrasts – from the modern Downtown to the famous Cuban neighbourhood to the iconic Ocean Drive and Gianni Versace's villa. From there, it was just a short walk to board our beautiful MSC Divina.
The first days at sea were spent exploring the ship, relaxing in the pools and hot tubs, playing sports, dancing, enjoying great food and entertainment. We met the captain at the gala evening, enjoyed themed parties and got into the Caribbean rhythm.
Our first exotic stop was Charlotte Amalie on the island of St. Thomas, where we enjoyed swimming at the breathtaking Magens Bay Beach and then explored the island's history – from Fort Christian via 99 steps to Blackbeard's Castle with a view of the harbour and our ship.
We continued on to St. Kitts and Nevis, where we enjoyed a sightseeing tour around the island on a historic train. 🚞 The Atlantic Ocean, local life, rum punch and singing on the train clearly showed that "every Czech is a musician" – and that we can be heard even in the Caribbean. 🎶😄
On the island of St. Martin, we strolled through colourful Philipsburg, relaxed on Great Bay Beach, and the most adventurous among us headed to the world-famous Maho Beach, where planes landed just a few metres above our heads – an unforgettable experience ✈️🤩
The next day, we were welcomed by Antigua, where we learned about the history of sugar plantations with a local guide, saw Devil's Bridge, tasted sweet black pineapple 🍍 and local rum, and ended the trip with some well-deserved relaxation on a beautiful beach. 🏖
In San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, we set out to explore the historic centre. We visited Plaza Colón with its statue of Christopher Columbus, walked past the San Cristobal fort to the El Capitolio building with its beautiful view of the ocean, and continued on to the iconic San Felipe del Morro fort, which guards the entrance to the bay. There was also free time to buy souvenirs and sample the local cuisine. We ended the day with a birthday celebration and evening entertainment at the disco – another sunny day on our Eastern Caribbean cruise was behind us.
The final stop on our Caribbean adventure was Puerto Plata – Dorado Beach, the colourful streets of Umbrella Street and Paseo de Doña Blanca, the colonial centre and the atmosphere of the Dominican Republic. Then it was time for our last day at sea, relaxation, packing and the slow return from tropical paradise back to the Czech winter.
We would like to thank everyone who was part of this cruise – for the great atmosphere, laughter, singing, energy and shared memories. 💙
These moments are exactly why we love travelling and our work. This cruise will be remembered for a long time. 🌴✨💞

Upon arrival in Miami, the last cruise of the year began, accompanied by the warm atmosphere of a city full of palm trees, nightlife and early morning sunrises on Miami Beach. The group explored distinctive parts of the metropolis - from the iconic Ocean Drive to Little Havana with its Cuban music and cafecito smell, to the historic landmarks and the first signs of Christmas approaching. After boarding the MSC Divina, a journey through the Caribbean ensued, during which everyone enjoyed some rest and a little celebration.
Aruba greeted us with gentle rain, quiet Eagle Beach and the picturesque pastel streets of Oranjestad. On the coral island of Bonaire, a diver's paradise, the group learned about salt mining, visited historic slave houses, and observed flamingos and local donkeys. On Curacao, the colorful town of Willemstad, a famous liquor store, and the unique Queen Emma Bridge floating bridge caught the eye. The sun was blazing all day, but we could already sense the Christmas atmosphere in the towns and cities that awaited us at home even with the snow.
After a day at sea and onboard celebrations, the premiere stop was made at the new Cabo Rojo resort in the Dominican Republic, where everyone enjoyed comfort and relaxation. In fact, the resort offered free amusement rides, pools and lounge chairs. Some of us even managed to spot a stingray or jellyfish in the water. And in the evening? It was Thanksgiving, a typical American holiday, and we had turkey and pumpkin pie for dinner.
In Jamaica, an adventurous climb up Dunn's River Falls and relaxation on a private beach awaited as a reward for the physical exertion of the climb. The cruise then headed back to Miami, where it was time to fly home.
Many thanks to the group for a nice cruise. We have successfully completed the 2025 season and look forward to seeing you in the next ones. Your delegates Marky and Helca and the whole Riviera Tour team.
Ochutnali jsme tradiční ponchu v „John’s Poncha“, prošli si vesničku Santana s jejími malovanými domečky, vychutnali společný oběd a objevovali krásy místní přírody i kaktusové zahrady. Den jsme zakončili vyhlídkami na východě ostrova a návratem do Funchalu. Poté jsme zamířili na Gran Canarii, kde jsme se nejdřív prošli po písečných dunách a následně navštívili trh Mercado del Puerto, ochutnali tapas i slavné „vrásčité brambory“ a poznali historii pevnosti Castillo de la Luz. Prošli jsme si i místní vyhlášené barevné schody a nakonec si užili atmosféru pláže Las Canteras.
Na vyhlídce jsme ochutnali barraquito a den završili návštěvou vinic La Geria.
Dalším ostrovem byla Fuerteventura. Prošli jsme malebnou La Olivu, podívali se do muzea výroby kozího sýra, ochutnali místní speciality, a to včetně medového rumu, a viděli tradiční mlýn spojený s produkcí gofia.

Po európskych zastávkach prišli najočakávanejšie prístavy – Port Said a Alexandria v Egypte. V tom prvom sme ešte pred východom slnka vyrazili do Káhiry.

At the beginning of November, a group of clients and I went on a great Caribbean cruise, during which we had the opportunity to experience all its beauty - from the white beaches of Aruba, through the tropical forests of Jamaica and Costa Rica, to the tropical colonial beauty of Colombia. Two of the highlights of the cruise were visits to the Panama Canal, one of the great wonders of modern technology (especially for gentlemen), and the island of Roatan off the coast of Honduras, which welcomed us with the atmosphere of a tropical paradise in the middle of the sea.
In short, there is a lot to see and experience on this type of cruise. We definitely recommend trying it at least once in your lifetime - here you will experience a very different Caribbean.
We are looking forward to the next meeting!
