2. day

Genoa Italy
23. June, 10:00 - 17:00

Upon arrival at the port, we will explore this amazing ancient city, especially famous during the Genoese Republic, which is associated with the birth of Christopher Columbus. The city tour is followed by registration and check-in to the ship. In the afternoon a familiarization tour of the ship, accommodation and safety drill before setting sail. Definitely don't miss the first departure from the port. Also, don't miss the first served dinner to enjoy the great Italian cuisine. In the evening, visit the ship's theatre and have a drink at the bar.

The Port of Genoa has a rich history that traces back to the Roman times, when it was established as a trade hub. However, its status of one of Europe's leading seaports was achieved in the Middle Ages, under the Genoese Republic. This bustling port city was a major player in the maritime trade routes, particularly with the East.

In the 19th century, the Port of Genoa underwent significant expansion under the Kingdom of Italy. Its geographical position and natural harbor made it a strategic point for commercial and military activities. Today, it continues to be a crucial port, serving as a major gateway for goods and passengers, and is considered one of the busiest ports in the Mediterranean Sea.

3. day

Marseille France
24. June, 7:00 - 15:00

In Marseille, from the old harbour, we head to the local cathedral, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the island of Iff, which you can optionally visit. The island where the hero of Alexandre Dumas' novel, Count of Monte Cristo, was imprisoned. However, the hike to the Cathedral of Our Lady with our delegate is an unforgettable experience. Marseille is in the palm of your hand. You will see the locations where the movie TAXI was filmed, the old port with its forts and other attractions.

We recommend the MSC Cruises transfer from the port to the city, in this destination it is really necessary, price about 17€.

The port of Marseille, also known as the Old Port, is located in the heart of Marseille, France. Its history dates back to antiquity, around 600 BC, when it was founded by Greek mariners from Phocaea. Over the centuries, the port has played a significant role in the economic and cultural development of the region, serving as a major hub for trade and transportation.

In the Middle Ages, the port became an important center for the Mediterranean trade. Despite periods of decline, it continued to flourish, especially during the Renaissance when it was modernized and fortified. In the 19th century, the port underwent a massive expansion, solidifying its status as one of the world's leading maritime ports. Today, it remains a vital part of Marseille's identity and economy.

4. day

Valencia Spain
25. June, 10:00 - 20:00

In the morning, after breakfast, you can set off with our delegate to explore this interesting city. We will admire the interesting architecture and urban design of the dried riverbed of the Turia River, which today houses a park and world-famous museums with amazing architecture by architect Santiago Calatrava. We walk through sleepy streets to the cathedral, where the Holy Grail-the chalice from which Jesus was to drink at the Last Supper-is housed. Afterwards, we'll do some shopping, sample some great ice cream or visit the local market. If you are interested, you can visit the local oceanographic museum, one of the largest in Europe.

We recommend MSC Cruises transfer from the port to the city, in this destination is necessary - price approx. 12€.

The Port of Valencia, located in Spain, is one of the largest and most important seaports in the Mediterranean Sea basin. Its history dates back to 1483 when Ferdinand the Catholic granted a privilege that authorized the city of Valencia to build a wooden bridge on the beach, marking the birth of the port.

Over the centuries, the port underwent various transformations, becoming a key infrastructure for the city. In the 19th century, modernization works were carried out, which included the construction of the canal and the first dock. Today, the Port of Valencia is ranked as the fifth busiest seaport in Europe, handling a significant amount of freight and millions of passengers annually.

5. day

Ibiza Spain
26. June, 9:00 - 23:59

Dance parties with world-class DJs - that's Ibiza. You can sunbathe or enjoy the amazingly clear sea or take a trip with a delegate to the local fortress and visit the town. The choice is yours. You can sunbathe on the adjacent beaches in the morning, visit the town with a delegate in the evening and experience the amazing evening views from the citadel, and after midnight head to the nightly disco and party on board the ship.

We recommend the MSC Cruises transfer from the port to the city, it is really necessary in this destination (price approx. 12€).

The port of Ibiza, located in Spain, has a rich history steeped in maritime tradition. It was established by the Phoenicians in the 7th century BC and served as a strategic trading post in the Mediterranean. The port has been under the control of various empires throughout history, including the Romans, Vandals, Byzantines, Moors, and finally the Spanish.

In the 16th century, the port underwent significant transformation when the Spanish built a fortified wall around the city to protect it from pirate attacks. The port continued to flourish in the 18th and 19th centuries, becoming a hub for the sale of salt, an important commodity. In the 20th century, the port of Ibiza evolved into a popular destination for tourists and is now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its cultural significance and well-preserved historical landmarks.

6. day at sea

7. day

Cagliari Italy
28. June, 8:00 - 17:00

Cagliari is the capital of the island of Sardinia.  It has over 230,000 inhabitants and is called Casteddu ("castle") in Sardinian. The city has a university and is an important port (connections especially to Genoa, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Naples and Palermo). Cagliari is situated between two bays of the Gulf of Cagliari, has an interesting medieval core, a beautiful Poetto beach and salt lakes with pink flamingos.

The atmosphere of this city is captivating for visitors. The vibrant life, the noisy traffic, the petrified history - you either love it or hate it! In Cagliari one does not feel like a tourist, here you experience the Sardinian everyday, you just belong to it. The ancient town of Carialis has been almost completely swallowed up by later development, but the remains of the Roman arena from the 2nd century AD remain. A walk through the medieval quarter is lovely.

Among the monuments of the medieval city, partly still protected by the Pisan walls with towers - Torre di San Pancrazio (in Piazza Indipendenza), or the bastion of Santa Catarina - there are some Gothic churches and some churches - especially the Cathedral of Santa Cecilia (completed in 1312). The Pisan-Romanesque cathedral was built in the 13th century but later rebuilt. It has an interesting Romanesque pulpit.

The port of Cagliari, commonly known as the Port of Cagliari, is one of the largest seaports in Italy. Located in the capital city of the Italian island of Sardinia, it has a rich history dating back to the Punic and Roman times. It served as a vital center for trade and commerce, connecting Sardinia with other regions of the Mediterranean.

Throughout the Middle Ages, the port continued to flourish under the control of various powers, including the Pisans and the Aragonese. The 19th century saw significant developments with the construction of the modern port and the establishment of a railway connection. Today, the Port of Cagliari is an important hub for commercial, passenger, and cargo traffic, maintaining its historical significance in the Mediterranean region.

8. day

Civitavecchia (Roma) Italy
29. June, 8:00 - 19:00

In the early hours of the morning arrival in the Italian port of Civitavecchia. Civitavecchia in the central Italian province of Lazio. It is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea, 80 km west-northwest of Rome. Translated as "Old Town", its name is the prototype of a classical Italian settlement with roots in antiquity (it has been shown that the site was inhabited as early as the Etruscan period), which has undergone a rich development and changes over its more than a thousand years of existence, the traces of which are still visible today. It has been the main Roman port for more than a thousand years and today you can still visit more than a hundred churches.

The history of the Italian port Civitavecchia dates back to the 2nd century during the reign of Emperor Trajan. The port was established as the port of Rome and was originally known as Centumcellae. Its strategic location and well-constructed harbor made it a critical asset to the Roman Empire, facilitating both military and commercial operations.

Over the centuries, the port of Civitavecchia has faced numerous invasions and destructions. It was destroyed by Barbarossa in 828 AD and then rebuilt by Pope Innocent XII in the late 17th century. Today, Civitavecchia serves as a major port for ferry connections to destinations like Sicily, Sardinia and other parts of the Mediterranean. It is also a popular departure point for Mediterranean cruises.

9. day

Genoa Italy
30. June, 9:00

In the morning breakfast and after disembarkation departure from the port to the Czech Republic. During the return transfer we have prepared for you two hot snacks for the journey, coffee, tea, cappuccino and chocolate and chat about the ships and new destinations.

Its geographical position and natural harbor made it a strategic point for commercial and military activities. Today, it continues to be a crucial port, serving as a major gateway for goods and passengers, and is considered one of the busiest ports in the Mediterranean Sea.

9. day

Verona Italy
30. June, 13:00 - 16:30

Verona is, after Venice, the second largest city in the province of Veneto. The historic city is surrounded on three sides by the Adige River and is a popular tourist destination for its beauty and wealth of monuments. The English playwright William Shakespeare set the action of his famous tragedy Romeo and Juliet there, making it immortal.

We walk through the centre of the historic town through the elongated Piazza delle Erbe (Green Market) on the site of the Roman Forum, with its 13th-17th century townhouses and palaces. In the middle of the square we see the Capitello, a 16th century pavilion on four columns, towards the NW there is a fountain with a Roman statue of the Madonna da Verona and further on a column with a Venetian lion. To the north, the Renaissance Palazzo Maffei, with its medieval tower and curious spiral staircase inside, closes the square.

The city centre has roughly preserved the layout of the Roman city with the cross streets and so orientation will be quite easy for us.

Then departure to the Czech Republic.
